Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus, To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. 2 Timoy 1:1-5

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus, To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.  I

thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my

prayers.  Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy.  I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your

grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

        2 Timothy 1:1-5

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their

treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

        Matthew 2:11

55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to

care for his needs. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

        Matthew 27

1After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb …

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he

has risen, just as he said … 8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with

joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

Matthew 28

You do not know God’s plan on your child’s future.           Prepare them.          You do not realize the impact you are having on your children.           Coach them.           You do not grasp the impact children will have on future generations.           Encourage them.

Three Words to the Moms

“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;     but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Honor her for all that her hands have done,     and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

        Proverbs 31
