Toastmasters International is committed to protecting our brand, trademarks and copyrights. If your
club wants to use TI logo on Trophies or T-shirts etc., you need to seek for approval on the use of TI

2015 International Convention
The 2015 Toastmasters International Convention will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 12-15,
2015. Kitty Wong will represent District 89 in the International Speech Contest on August 13. Let’s all
support Kitty! If you want to join the International Convention, register HERE!
District Director is representing your club to attend the Annual Business Meeting
If no one from your club can attend the Annual Business Meeting, which will be held on 15 August
2015 in Las Vegas, you can assign proxy to District Director, Derek Wong, DTM, to vote on your
behalf. Please go to Club Central for assigning the club proxy.
In the International Convention like previous years (see photos above), District Trio will interview all the
International Director Candidates and vote on your behalf in the Annual Business Meeting.

“It’s not over yet” by Kitty Wong
May 24 has special meaning to me. It is on this very day that I clutched the
championship of District International Speech Contest. As the saying goes,
the sky has no limits. I am certain that my journey will not end here. It is not
over yet. Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you
- District 89. For without you, I would not have created this hallmark in my life.
On that stage on 24 May, in that 7-minute speech, we shared the same
“moment” of joy, of painful hurts, of resilience and of resounding
success. You were with me. For that I am most grateful.
As this will be my first world convention, I will seize every opportunity to
learn. To present my speech on the same stage together with 1
representative from South Africa, 1 from Saudi Arabia, 1 from Western
Australia and 6 from regional US is really overwhelming and exasperating for
me. I promise myself that I will reap the most benefit out of it, I will fight for
my dream and I will make the audience share the same “moment” with me.
