Special Activity: Sorting

Sort objects by Color ● Find any colored objects that you have at your house. ● Have your child sort by color. You can choose how many colors for them to sort.

Place everything into a pile at first and then have them sort by color.

Sort by quantity ● Get cupcake liners, plates, paper, etc. Write number a number through 10 on

each cupcake liner or plate. ● Have your child put as many objects as the number on the cupcake liner or plate

( whatever you choose to use) says.
