Tom Down Under - Equipped for mission
The journey so far: What a journey Ive been on in the last 12 months. This time last year I was still commuting from Sheffield to Doncaster to work for Home Base but then God called me firstly closer and closer towards HIM and then out to learn more about Him and to serve Him in a variety of places On 15th January I headed off to Townsville, Australia to join the YWAM course called Reef to Outback. This course has been a mixture of Bible teaching and mission both locally in Australia and future away to Papa New Guinea

The current Discipleship Training Scheme which I have almost completed has been funded through my own savings and other kind donations received as I left the UK
Leadership Training Scheme 3 month course. Start date 5th July 2015 Cost 2100
School Biblical Studies 9 month course. Start date 1st October 2015 Cost 5500
Visa for the next 3 months 180
Health Insurance for 3 months 80
Medical costs for injections and tablets to go on mission to Papa new Guinea 80
Living cost for next 12 months approximately 220/ month. I intend to self fund my living cost from the money left from the sale of my house in the UK.
A big thank you to everyone who has helped me in anyway; Your help has enabled me to follow Gods calling to begin to be equipped for mission and Gods service for the future. Ephesians 1:16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers
The teaching I have received has been amazing and I have learnt so much. The prayer and worship times have been really special with the presence of God tangible and what God has revealed to me during these times mind blowing. I have learnt about so much but here is a flavour of what we have covered.
