The procedure is as follows:
Collect an enrolment form from the Flexi School office
Ring for an interview on 4614 4100
During the interview a staff member will explain more to you about what is offered and what is expected at Toowoomba Flexi School
A position will be offered if it is determined that Flexi is the right environment for you
A SET Plan (learning plan) will be completed to map a course of study that suits your needs to achieve the pathway determined by you
At the interview; please be prepared to answer the question ‘What are your life and career goals for the future?’

What you need to know
At Flexi we focus on the senior phase of learning, in particular accreditation to achieve a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). This includes years 10, 11 and 12. Subjects delivered in year 10:
Short Course in Literacy, Short Course in Numeracy, History, Health, Physical Education, Art, Music, Introduction to Hospitality Practices, Shop A , Pastoral Care and Mentoring. Subjects offered in year 11 and 12: CORE:
Essentials English
Social and Community Studies
Certificate II Work Skills and Vocational Pathways
Pastoral Care ELECTIVES:
Certificate II in Music
Certificate II in Sport and Recreation
Certificate II in Business
Certificate II Hospitality Support for various pathways:
School Based Traineeships
School Based Apprenticeships
School Based VET and TAFE subjects
USQ Tertiary Preparation Program
Subjects Offered
Subjects are delivered by qualified teachers
ready to help students achieve goals.
Teachers deliver core subjects with significant
instruction and support each week. Teachers
provide instruction to encourage and develop
understanding. A positive relationship between
the teacher and the student is encouraged to
enhance learning. Students in year 11 and 12
are required to study 5 subjects or equivalent
to be considered a full-time student. Students
are required to attend all classes when they
are scheduled. Assistance will be given to fit
study around work commitments.
What to bring
All study materials are provided for each
student as a part of the school fees that are
payable on commencement.
Breakfast and Lunch
Meals are provided for students and prepared
by volunteers Monday to Friday. Students
wishing to partake in breakfast are required to
be at school by 8.30am.
What to wear to school
Students are required to wear closed in shoes
and modest clothing. Singlets and thongs are
not permitted.
