Toppan USA, Inc., an industry leading transpar-ent barrier film manufacturer, and Mitsui Plas-tics, Inc., a leading global supplier of polymer materials, services and solutions, established a new contract packaging company in Daytona, Florida in June 2017.
The new company, Pouchfill Packaging, LLC., is a premier flexible beverage & food contract packer for stand-up pouches in the U.S. It has one of the industry’s fastest cold/hot fillingcapabilities and a retort capability with the highest quality.
In addition to contract packaging services, Pouchfill Packaging offers various services from pouch design, to pouch structure develop-ment, pouch sourcing and more.
By offering contract packaging services, cold/hotfilling, high quality, and shelf stable products in a retort-able pouch to the market, we are aiming to change and enrich consumers’ lives in the U.S.

Toppan USA Georgia Plant celebrates 1st anniversary

Toppan USA, Inc. is celebrating the 1st anniversary of the Georgia Plant’s opening. It has been more than a year since the opening ceremony was held on April 7, 2016 in Griffin, Georgia.
The Georgia Plant is the first transpar-ent barrier film production site estab-lished by Toppan Printing outside of Japan.
The Plant now produces various types of GL FILM, the world’s leading transparent barrier film, which had previously been produced only in Japan and exported to the overseas markets such as Europe, Asia, and the U.S.
With the Georgia Plant’s GL FILM production, customers now canenjoy high-quality GL FILM with
shorter lead times and local sales and technical support.
Toppan USA Georgia Plant will continue to produce a range of GL FILM types for customers’ various applications, from food to industrial materials, and for numerous markets, including North America, Latin America, and Europe.
