Stubbe’s was founded in 1982 by Herb Stubbe, when he designed and manufactured the first precast concrete hog

feeders in Ontario, Canada. Over the years the company added various other agricultural products including various

types of bunk feeders, bunker silo walls and slats combined with posts and beams.

In 2001 Stubbe’s entered the commercial and residential markets by introducing its Hollow core flooring system.

This was followed by the introduction of structural wall panels in 2006. In 2010 Stubbe’s added structural columns,

beams and double tees to its product line. All these products are now combined into our specialty TOTAL PRECAST

STRUCTURES.

Structural and Architectural Precast Concrete. Production takes place at two state-of-the-art manufacturing plants with over 340,000 square feet of indoor production and support facilities on over 175 acres in South West Ontario.

Stubbe’s use of Engineering and Design teams - with 3D modelling software allows for ease of incorporating mechanical systems with the structural components during the design phase and greatly reduces any issues or con�ict with the assembly and construction on site.

Parking levels and large open areas can be accomplished with the use of precast columns and beams. The precast components have a �nished appearance and �re rating negating the need for an after-market application

Structural walls with a splicer bar connectionto transfer loads downward. Cladding walls incorporate a knife connection to transfer loads to the load bearing walls

Joints between the wall panels have a 2-stage caulking detail exceeding OAA standards to prevent water and other elements from penetrating the structure

Caulking:

Stubbes will include for any miscellaneous structural steel (i.e. lintels across hallways) to maintain fast pace schedules with the “One Trade” principle

Inserts for ductwork and electrical conduits can be cast into the panel for speed and convenience on site
