  • SLINGS

    ◄ 41 ►

No two patients are exactly the same and each patient has different needs. Wy’East Medical has developed a family of slings to cover every need. It is very important to choose the right sling based on the needs of the patient to be transferred as well as their physical ability and size. All Wy’East Medical slings are made from a Polyester / Nylon material, which is easy to care for and install. All slings feature an integral padded head and neck support, padded thigh supports for patient comfort, and an optional padded headrest for

increased patient comfort. The open bottom design is simple to place on the patient and facilitates access for toileting and bathing without having to remove the sling. The Wy’East Medical family of slings are divided into 4 groups; The standard high back sling comes in 5 different sizes, the bathing sling comes in 4 different sizes, the amputee sling comes in 3 different sizes, and the disposable sling comes in 1 uni-size. Each sling is color coded for easy identification. All slings are designed to lift a max weight of 600 lbs.

The following table is to be used as a guide to help approximate which sling to use on a patient, keeping in mind that each patient is unique and the right sling to use should be the one that fits the needs and body type of the patient.
