WILDLIFE
Existing within a concrete jungle hardly ascertains the fact that
India has the second largest wildlife base in the world. Here in
the environs of the tropical forests of the Ghats, the Deccan
Peninsula, the Gangetic plain, the North Eastern Region and the
evergreen slopes of the Himalayas house an ample variety of
wild animals: tigers, snow leopards, elephants, antelopes, deer,
black bucks, bears, jackals, hyenas, wild buffalos etc.
Come and enjoy the cinematic exhibition during your sojourn in
the wilds. The highlights of these safaris are gripping jeep safaris,
treks, bird watching, wild life movies, photography workshops
and music renting the evening air around a bonfire.
You have our full support to shoot tiger at the well known
Manas, Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh and Kanha national parks,
the one-horned rhinocerous in the Kaziranga reserves or the
nearly extinct white lion at the Sasangir Sanctuary but through
the camera lens alone!

ADVENTURE
For those who want to break free from their otherwise mundane
life routine, we offer a series of adventure holidays: short
weekend stimulation or longer period of adventurous activity.
The Himalayan ranges intimidate and enthrall you into a state
of stunned silence. These majestic mountains have quite a few
spectacular pursuits to offer an adventurer, be it mountaineering,
rock climbing, trekking or river rafting.
Breathe in nature in the raw on a camel safari or in a jungle.
Paragliding exudes an inexplicable sense of thrill for those who
reach out to experience new heights. Gliding down a ski slope,
water rafting down cascading streams pushes the adrenalin levels
of people who dare. Windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving bring in a
sense of fulfillment for water babies.
Holiday camps help you to connect and appreciate the bounty
of nature.
There is always something for everyone - those who dare, the
nature lovers, the scenic seekers and the bold adventurers.

PILGRIM
India since ancient times has earned the celebrated linkage with
salvation and rebirth, astrology and holistic healing sought in
the temples or monasteries, where saints and sages abound in
the corridors of these hallowed places. The walls of these holy
places reverberate with the tinkling sounds of the bells and the
resonant chants fill the air……
Cox and Kings offers an assortment of packages suited to
rejuvenate mental and spiritual faculties of a pilgrim.
Whatever your beliefs, creed, class or caste, our pilgrim tours
cut across all barriers.
Come participate in our tours across the length and breadth
of India - Vaishnodevi, Haridwar, Rishikesh or Char Dham in
the North, the Navgraha temples or Rameshwaram, Tirupati or
Puttaparthi in the South, the temples of Puri in the East, the
Dilwara temples or the temples in Palitana and the renowned
resting seat of Shri Sai Baba in Shirdi in the West. An aura
of inner peace and calmness will surely engulf you on our
pilgrim tours.

WELLNESS
Health, as it is stated most aptly, is wealth beyond measure.
The stress that runs high levels by the hour, day or year can bog
down an otherwise carefree individual .
India is renowned for its ancient but nevertheless natural
medicine and techniques to distress and detoxify. Ayurveda,
Yoga, and meditation are the key features that India offers for
purging the mind and body of toxins.
On our wellness tours, a course of simple exercises to tone the
system and cure minor ailments is readily available.
Rejuvenate within the environs of the flora and the fauna and
energise yourself.
The focus is on hikes, walks, organic food, spirituality, meditation,
yoga and natural therapy. Special rejuvenation programs at
most places include body purification, slimming, and stress
management. Beauty care programs such as special rejuvenation
massages, fruit or herbal oil massages and medicated steam
baths are also available to our clients.
Pamper yourself to the hilt and avail of this opportunity to
fructify your lifespan.
13
Breaking away from the monotonous confines of the walls of
an office, is indeed a definite way to stimulate and energize
employees.
An exposure to our land’s rich and varied heritage in art and
architecture and craftsmanship in different mediums goes along
with the effectual healing touch of many a scenic landscape.

NEPAL - THE MOUNTAIN KINGDOMKATHMANDU • POKHARA • CHITWAN
Enfolded within the spiraling heights of the majestic
Himalayas, the mountain kingdom of Nepal is a land of awe-
inspiring scenery, ancient temples and picturesque walking
trails rich in scenic splendor and cultural heritage. Apart
from the city of Kathmandu and the ancient capital towns of
Patan and Bhaktapur, Pokhara captures one’s interest with
its perfect natural setting of lakes and mountains making it
an ideal destination for adventure.
KATHMANDU
Kathmandu has a maze of narrow streets, wooden temples
and beautifully decorated palaces, gentle sound of jangling
cymbals, colourful markets with a rich blend of colours,
aromas and traditional lifestyles that make Kathmandu
one of the world’s most fascinating cities. It houses many
Hindu and Buddhist temples such as the Swayambhunath –
popularly known as the ‘monkey temple’, the Pashupatinath
where Lord Shiva is worshipped, the temple of the Living
Goddess and of course the ever bustling Durbar Square.
POKHARA
Alongside the 3 km long Phewa lake and at the foothills
of the mighty Annapurna and the formidable virgin peak of
Fishtail mountain is the peaceful town of Pokhara. Situated
on the bank of Seti River, it commands one of the most
spectacular views of mountains in the main range of the
Himalayas. It’s unique charm is derived from its all year
round climate and its stunning close views of magnificent
Machhapurchare or “Fish Tail Mountain” and the mighty
Annapurnas. From Pokhara one can visit David’s or Devi’s
Fall where a stream flowing out of the lake suddenly surges
down the rocks into a deep gorge. Adjacent to the falls is the
Gupteshwar Gumpha that has a Shivlinga.
CHITWAN
Asia’s richest and most spectacular wildlife sanctuary –
the Royal Chitwan National Park is situated 75 air miles
south-west of Kathmandu. In this panoramic jungle setting
one can discover a lost world of towering trees and twisted
vines, of pre-historic rhino, lumbering elephants, crocodile,
python, deer; brilliantly coloured birds and if you are lucky
the Royal Bengal Tiger. One can enjoy activities such as wild
life viewing from elephant back, nature walks, jungle treks,
bird watching, boat trips, etc.
