FOR TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS:
All USATT regulations apply. Only USATT approved
equipment will be used. Tables will be Killerspin and
Xiom. Balls will be white Nittaku Japan 3-star
Premium 40+ balls. Clothing must conform to USATT
dress code. Entry is open to members of USATT or
those who purchase a USATT membership or
tournament pass.
PRIZES:
There will be trophies for 1st-4th place for each team
member in each division and the following Xiom gift
certificates will be given to the top 4 teams in each
division:
- 1st place: $100/team
- 2nd place: $50/team
- 3rd/4th place: $25/team
In division 1, there will be the following prize money:
- 1st place: $2,000/team
- 2nd place: $1,000/team
TEAMS:
Each team must consist of 2-4 players. All players on
each team must be between 800 rating points of
each other. Any highly rated player used to boost a
team’s rating or to just play the initial matches to
determine the divisions without participating in
singles otherwise will be subject to fine and
discipline. If a change of plans happens for your
team after submitting entry, the tournament director
must be informed ahead of time.

RATINGS/UNRATED PLAYERS:
Please use the ratings on October 27, 2017 on the
USATT website to determine the eligibility of teams.
Unrated players should use their league or club
ratings on October 27, 2017. If any unrated players
do not have league ratings, an estimate rating from
a USATT certified coach can be used to determine
team eligibility. For seedings, the most recent rating
list will be used.
FORMAT:
Each team match will consist of 5 matches, 2
singles, then 1 doubles, and then 2 more singles.
Each singles and doubles match will be best 3 out of
5 to 11 points. The 4th and 5th singles can be played
by the first 2 singles players or replaced by a 3rd
and/or 4th team member. Here is the format for
each team match where each letter corresponds
to a potential player:

The players playing each singles and doubles
match must be written by both teams before the
team match starts. All 5 matches in the round robin
groups will be played regardless of the outcomes.
Depending on the number of entries and the ratings
of players, there will likely be divisions with 6-12
teams in each division. All teams in the same division
will play each other in a giant round robin. Teams
will be seeded into divisions based on the average
rating of the two highest rated players on the team.
Teams may have initial matches on Friday facing
teams from other divisions. Teams can be relegated
or promoted to lower or higher divisions for the rest
of their team matches based on the results of these
matches. Then the teams will just play in their own
divisions. All division matches are scheduled to finish
by 1 pm Sunday.
SEMIFINALS AND FINALS:
The top 4 teams in each division will advance to the
semifinals which are tentatively scheduled to take
place on Sunday at 1 pm. The semifinals should
finish by 3 pm Sunday and the finals should finish by
5 pm Sunday. The semifinals and finals will be
played until one team wins 3 matches.
TEAM NAMES:
Team names must be 35 characters or less. The
tournament director reserves the right to request a
new team name or change the team name if
inappropriate.
CHECK-IN:
All team captains must check in to the tournament
hall between 6-9 pm on Thursday, November 23 or
between 7:30 am-8:45 am on Friday, November 24
morning where all teams will get their time schedule
of matches. Many teams will begin play on Friday at
9 am.
PRACTICE:
The hall will be open for practice on Thursday,
November 23 from 6-9 pm and on Friday, November
24 beginning at 7:30 am.

$275/TEAM. Entries must be postmarked with check
payable to Fremont Table Tennis Academy and

online at omnipong.com by November 17, 2017.
LATE ENTRIES:
Late entries may be accepted with a $35 late fee
after November 17, 2017, space permitting. All late
entries with payment must be received by
Wednesday, November 22.
REFUNDS:
There are no refunds after November 17, 2017.
SPECTATORS:
There is free entry for spectators, coaches, friends,
and family.
