MicroAid has helped Mrs. Inen Jusmadi from Rime Raya Village to learn how to make soybean cake (tempe). Inen and her friends were given assistance to purchase eight kilograms of soybeans for each family.
With that much soy, Inen can reproduce homemade soybean cake (tempe). She stopped producing through lack of cash < $5 since the tsunami disaster in 2004. Until now, Tovan still accompany Inen in developing the quality of soybean cake (tempe) made so adding profit to her family enterprise.

At the time of land clearing, there are many Orok-orok leaf that for many farmers is useless. But with the new knowledge introduced by Tovan, the Orok leaf can be used as organic fertilizer and very good for plants.
For some farmers, the leaves are burned as useless. But for the SRI paddy cultivation, the leaves can be used as organic fertilizer.
