TRADE SHOW STRATEGYTrade shows are expensive and your success on the show floor is determined weeks and months prior to your shoes hitting the concrete floor.
As an exhibitor your pre-show marketing is as important as your post-show and certainly can do more for the success of your show than anything you can do while on the show floor.
To make the most of your time at the show announce that you are an exhibitor to your clients and prospects at least three months in advance. Talk about the theme of your booth in your email newsletter on your blog, social media profiles. Send inserts with your invoices to clients and for these clients and prospects you really want to see, launch a micro-targeting campaign like the campaign iJET mailedbefore their event.

THE 5 MUST HAVES FOR A SUCCESSFUL TRADE SHOW STRATEGY1. A pre-show marketing plan. Your marketing message should begin 3-6
months BEFORE the show date.
2. A unique experience at your tradeshow booth. Success is about delivering
a memorable experience. Your company’s product or service features and
benefits can be found online. Now is your time to connect so focus on what
your visitors experience at your booth.
3. A display staffed with employees that have the proper experience and
knowledge. Know your audience and staff your booth accordingly. Keep
track of your who’s working when with a staffing schedule.
4. Giveaways that people want and use. A recent promotional study found 86
percent of people who receive a giveaway remember the company and on
average keep the giveaway for seven months.
5. A post show follow up plan. Do more than send a follow up email. Continue
the relationship you started at the booth and follow up with meaningful
information (i.e. a case study, webinar link or whitepaper)
