SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPSSpecial Interest Groups (SIGs) are NETSCOUT user groups with a focus on one area of per-formance management or security. Groups are led by subject matter experts from NETSCOUT’s Global Services Organization. Customers who use NETSCOUT solutions on a day-to-day basis to manage their networks also participate. SIGs are an excellent oppor-tunity to share best practices with other users and to seek solutions from industry colleagues regarding specific requirements.

NETSCOUT SMEs facilitate the conversations, provide technical advice, and can also re-search specific topics or questions that arise during the SIG sessions. SIGs are also a good opportunity for users to give product feed-

back to NETSCOUT. Special Interest Groups can meet in person at Engage, NETSCOUT’s annual user conference. Members sometimes give presentations at the conference about topics curated during SIG meetings. Regular meetings are held once a month via WebEx.

Current Special Interest Groups include: • Capacity Planning and Traffic Study • Unified Communications
