How do I graduate?  It’s simple: Come to school, do your work, follow the rules! 

When you pass a class (60 or higher) you receive CREDIT.  Half year classes = .5 credits Full year classes = 1 credit

You will need:   22 Credits for a Standard Diploma 23 Credits for a Technical Diploma 25 Credits for a Scholastic Diploma

Three Different Diploma Options?  What’s the difference?

Standard‐ fulfills requirements to graduate.  Technical‐ focus area by completing 2 years at a regional career and technical center (Salem or Pinkerton)

Scholastic‐ aligned with requirements for getting into a 4 year college.

Some things to consider: Engineering Program‐ PLTW A sequence of courses which combined with college preparatory math and science, introduces students to engineering and engineering technology before going to college. 

Start with Intro to Engineering Design Should be in Geometry or Algebra 1 ACC.

Sign up for 7 classes (7 classes + 1 lunch = 8 periods)  Add alternate elective classes  Study hall? 

Teachers will make recommendations for CCP vs. ACC Recommendations based on grades and work ethic 

Word of advice: Get required electives done early! Will free up space for more variety of classes in 11th & 12thgrade!
