Structure and Contents of the Course IntroductionGlobalization and transnationalization processes are increasingly influencing the perspectives and realities of children and young adults.

Professionals from Social Work and pedagogical fields must adapt to these growing processes of ch-ange and develop appropriate perspectives for wor-king with young adults. The programme focuses on developing skills for understanding the life worlds of young adults and gaining relevant expertise.

It offers a content-matched mix of engaging and stimulating (interdisciplinary) subjects relevant for students of Social Work, Social Care, Health Science and Childhood Education.

The modular course is specifically designed for exchange students but open to students from all faculties at Kiel UAS. It is delivered by lecturers from Kiel UAS and guest lecturers from abroad (for example the Netherlands and the UK).

The Programme is worth 30 ECTS.

Orientation days take place at the beginning of September and March. Participation is mandatory. Exchange students also have the opportunity to take part in intensive German courses at Kiel UAS. The courses start at the beginning of September and March. Registration is required.
