Travel Dialogue

NATALY: Is it yours?

ROMINA: Thanks!

NATALY: oooohhh!!! Romina, How are you? And what are you doing here?

ROMINA: Hi! It is nice to see you again; I am fine, and you?

NATALY: I am fine too, but what are you doing here? You have your own car; you

do not need to travel by bus

ROMINA: Yes, that is true, but last week my car broke down when I was traveling

to Santiago

NATALY: Uuuf, what a pity! But where are you traveling now?

ROMINA: I am traveling to Talca to see my Mom, tomorrow will be her birthday,

and my brother is there now, so he will pick me up at the bus station, and What

about you?

NATALY: I am taking advantage of the long weekend, so, my husband and I are

getting away to Peru

ROMINA: Really?

NATALY: Yes. But, first we will arrive at Santiago and then we will set out of

Tacna.

ROMINA: That is sounds great! But where is your husband?

NATALY: Mmmm, my husband is in the Bank now, but then he will get off here

and meets me up. And what about you, what time do you get on the bus?

ROMINA: Mmmm, let me see my bus ticket, mmmm! At 9:00 o´clock; but I think

that the bus could be some minutes late, because I heard on the radio that the

traffic had started to buck up because of an accident or something like that

NATALY: Really?

ROMINA: (shows agreement)

NATALY: That is always happens, because of that the police are always pulling

drivers over because they are speeding. So, I think that it is a good idea to avoid

accidents

ROMINA: Mmm, I agree with you, people use to speed up on the road. Aaah, I

forgot to mention something

NATALY: Tell me Romina

ROMINA: Would you stop over in Iquique for some nights on the way to Tacna?

NATALY: No, I won`t. but, I remember that last week you recommended me a very

good hotel there, but my husband told me that he preferred to check in immediately

in the Imperial Hotel in Peru. But I am looking forward to go to Iquique next month

ROMINA: Anyway! If you have the chance to go, do it, because it has very nice

landscapes

NATALY: I think so. But, changing the subject, do you know where is a cafeteria

here ?

ROMINA: My dear, upstairs you have one

NATALY: Oooohh! You are right, so, would you like to drink with a cup of coffee

with me?

ROMINA: I would like to drink a cup of coffee, but my bus just arrived and I have to

go

NATALY: Do not worry!

ROMINA: O.k, it was nice to see you

NATALY: Thank you, you too

ROMINA: Bye

NATALY: Bye.
