TREASURE
S WE
OWNBY: STACEY SMITH
Stacey Smith is a single mother of two teenage
girls. She found her true love in Australia and about to embark her journey. She is a teacher in International
school in Brisbane. She found her twin flame, her
eternal love. And her poem is dedicated to her TRUE
AND ENDLESS LOVE.
When my hand is wrinkled so, (7)
it's you that I will still want you know. (9)
As my hair turns silver and gray (8)
remember me as I was yesterday. (10)
My long red hair blowing in the breeze, (9)
we loved each other with ease. (7)
Now in the park your hand I hold, (8)
you keep me warm as it turns cold. (8)
We sit on a bench and feed the birds, (9)
not a single word needs to be heard. (9)
Remembrances of years gone by, (8)we both smile...we both sigh. (6)
Remembering our first glance, and for hours how we danced.
(13)The flowers you gave to me
for no reason, (6)and the little things you did
every season, made me a believer in true
love. (20)The kind that's been blessed
from above. (8)
Our children have grown and left our home, (9)
all those memories we now own. (8)
A treasure of love is between two hearts, (10)
nothing has ever torn them apart. (9)
Our love has stood the test of time, (8)
we are still together our souls entwined. (10)
Until the day we shall pass from here, (9)
eternally we are one soul my dear. (10)
