TRENCHING AND SAMPLING REPORT

This report describes the stripping, trenching, blasting and sampling of two

areas known as the "Folly" and "Highway" showings on claim L-1200669 in Tyrrell

Township, Plan No.-M253 Shiningtree area, Larder Lake Mining Division.

An initial visit was made by Carl Forbes and Mitchell Lavery to the site on

May 24, 1995, whereby two insignificant looking outcrops were discovered.

However it was decided to sample them and both areas returned significant gold

assays.

A second visit was made to the site on May 28,1995 and a small area was

stripped and washed and some 10 blast holes were drilled but heavy rain

suspended work late in the day. A third visit was made on June 1, 1995 to try to

map the small stripping and 8 more samples were taken, which returned

appreciable gold values.

Due to the return of fair gold values, Haddington Resources, Strike's

neighbour to the south elected to sample the areas Strike had sampled. They

used a diamond saw to make channel sample cuts as the outcrops had not yet

been blasted. Mr. Art Beecham, consultant for Haddington conducted this work

with the assistance of two helpers. The channel sampling was conducted over

three days and Mr. Beecham's results are represented on his plan included

herein. A total of 24 samples were taken.

Mr. Larry Salo was contracted to use his J-D 450 dozer and backhoe to try

to further expose the showings on August 10, 1995. It was found his equipment

was not sufficient to extend much more of the stripping area as the outcrop fell off

into overburden quite rapidly. It was then decided to blast the outcrop exposures

already exposed. An air compressor with a pneumatic drill was rented from F. A.

Mclntye contractors of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Mr. Mitchell Lavery, Brian Madill

and John Boone drilled and blasted some 100 holes on August 12th and 13th,

1995. This exposed the showings quite well, however no sampling has been

done by Strike as this exercise was to spruce the showings up to show to potential

joint venture partners.

The total cost of this project to date is as follows:

SUJET/RE: Technical TJndate - Follv Gaims - Shining Tree Area. Ontario

Three property visits were completed May 24,28 and June l, 1995 on the FoOy daims (Kosy purchase), Shining Tree area, Tyrrell township, Ontario.

Visit - Mav 24. 1995

The '.vriter and Mr. Carl Forbes spent the day visiting the Haddington Resources property just south of the Foily to learn about the property and the significant mineralization recently found there. We were shown outcrops, maps and drill core by Mr. Walter Nash and Mr. Art Beecham.

We also looked at two small outcrops, a blasted exposure on the south side of Highway 560 (Foily east) and a small exposure on the west side of the Lecarte road about 250 feet south of Highway 560 (Foily west). The first outcrop is on the Folly daims but the western most outcrop is just inside the daims or straddles the boundary.

A grab sample was taken at each of these locations in a very casual manner as visually the rock was not very impressive. The roadside sample was a light green, trachyte or sub-intrusive syenite with f/o pyrite that returned 3.5 g/t (. l oz/t) Au. The western sample was a red trachyte or sub- intrusive syenite with 534 pyrite that returned 1.6 g/t (.05 ozft)Au.

Visit-Mav28. 1995

Based on these very positive assay results a stripping program was completed on May 28,1995 on the western most outcrop now referred to as the (Forbes1) Folly west Those involved in the work were L.Sailo. J. Boone, R. Annett, C. Forbes and the writer

A small area measuring 52* by 25' was stripped and washed but due to very heavy rain nothing more could be accomplished that day. An attempt was made to drill some holes with a gasoline plugger but was suspended because of the weather and the hardness of the rock.

Page 6: TRENCHING & SAMPLING REPORT...TRENCHING AND SAMPLING REPORT This report describes the stripping, trenching, blasting and sampling of two areas known as the "Folly" and "Highway" showings

During the course of this work C. Forbes and the writer wandered about 600 feet north onto the old Tuniskaining Nickel camp she, north ofMgbway 560. We observed a low ridge of quartz porphyry with minor pyrite.

Visit - June 1. 1QQS

ft was decided that the location of the Folly west showing was too dose to the Matona property boundary for comfort and a boundary check should be made to verity claim post and fine locations.

J. Forbes and T. O'Connor were engaged to accompany M Lavery and C. Forbes for this visit. J. Forbes and T. O'Connor completed the claim post and fine verification on the north and most of the west boundary. A large open fraction is thought to occur between the Folly daims and the claims to the north. Something that has to be verified and rectified as soon as practically possible.

M. Lavery and C. Forbes checked outcrop along the roads on the north and west and re-sampled the Folly west, Folly east and a new exposure the Folly north, just on the boundary on the west side of the Timiskaming Nickel camp she. All are trachyte or sub-intrusive syenite with varying amounts of pyrite. We also checked outcrop along Highway 560 west to Porphyry Lake.

It is clear from this quick visit that Carter's O.D.M. map for the area is extremely inaccurate and the claims will have to mapped in detail at some tone in the future just to get an idea of the property geology.

A roial of 5 grab samples were taken from the Fofly west, l from the Fofly north and 3 from the Foily east showings. We are awaiting the results at this time.
