Clearly, between 2014 and 2018, the state government has under-allocated to the Nutrition sector. Budget performance which peaked at 182.87 percent in fiscal year 2016 was 18.34 percent and 10.27 percent in fiscal year 2015 and 2017 respectively. Additional N16.43 billion was allocated for the Intervention to improve Nutrition in Primary and Secondary Schools. Also, an additional N1.17 billion was allocated for Water and sanitation.
