PARTNERS IN EDUCATION PROGRAM

“Enhancing a Quality Education ThroughPartner Participation…

Transforming Students Together”

DAN A. SIMS, PRINCIPAL

MissionThe Partners in Education Program promotes collaborative relationships between local businesses, organizations and our school to create a spirit of involvement that has apositive impact on TCHS and the community at-large.

IntroductionThe Partners in Education Program’s goal is for the Tri-Cities community to embrace our future leaders of tomorrow by investing in the students today with the educational, social and technological skills necessary to realize their full potential. Schools are challenged with preparing today’s students for their entry into a diverse, competitive and evolving workforce. When businesses actively engage in the education of students, they help strengthen the future workforce. The program strives to enrich and expand the educa-tional opportunities of TCHS students, while fostering a greater connection between the school and community. We encourage community leaders to assume an active role by contributing their time, talent and resources to our students and school. The outcome of the partnerships prove to be mutually beneficial. Each flourishes from the support and interaction of the other. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. ~Margaret Mead
