Hot Bitumen Import Project This project included the installation of pump- ing and blending facilities at the initiation station, 5 km of 12” pipeline and a measure- ment and pressure letdown station at the receiving terminal. Basal Water Aquifer Project This project included the depressurization of the south pit area including 5 depressurization wells, interconnecting pipeline and 10 re-injection wells. Transfer, Recovery and Disposal Plant The project included the green field design and construction of a new plant that included site/ civil development, truck unloading and meter- ing of heavy oil, condensate and water, value added solid and liquid waste processing, storage and automated blendng of heavy oil, butane and condensate for sales oil. This project was completed using a modular approach to the entire plant. Two pipelines were installed to complete tie-ins to an existing oil pipeline with custody transfer sampling and an existing disposal well. The shipping of products in the industry demands attention to product identification and measurement accuracy.
