Parish Representatives needed to attend Historic Synod A Joint Anglican Synod is planned for October 4-6, 2017, in Atlanta, Georgia. This historic synod will draw together four different Anglican jurisdictions: The Anglican Catholic Church, the Anglican Church in America, the Diocese of the Holy Cross, and our own Anglican Province of America. The event will culminate in a signing of an Intercommunion Concordat between the jurisdictions. Holy Trinity Church is allowed two lay representatives to this Synod. It will be a very busy time conducting business for the Diocese and the Province, while also fellowshipping with members of the three other jurisdictions. If you would like to represent our parish at this historic synod, please submit your name to the parish office for consideration. Nominees will be chosen in a special election to be held in the next few weeks.

NEW Sunday Bible College Course Begins This Sunday, April 30 The Epistle to the Hebrews:

The Letter to the Hebrews was written to encourage Christians in a time of trials. It does so by focusing on the absolute supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus Christ. Join us for this study to find out why Fr. Cunningham believes Hebrews is the key to understanding and interpreting the rest of the New Testament.

HTC will host an end of year chapel service and fellowship gathering for the students, parents, friends and staff of Good Shepherd Classic. This will be the last such event as Good Shepherd becomes Lindisfarne Hall at Holy Trinity Church. All are welcome to join us for the celebration.

Beating the Bounds! Blessing the Land for Lindisfarne Hall Rogation Sunday, May 21st, at 9:15 AM… It is customary on Rogation Sunday for the clergy to bless the parish boundaries and claim the lands for Christ in a ceremony called Beating the Bounds. We will Beat the Bounds of our newly acquired property and plant a cross on the site to claim it for Lindisfarne Hall to the Glory of God. Please join us as we march around the new land in this victory celebration.

Lindisfarne Hall Update • On April 18, the Florida Department of Education added Lindisfarne Hall to

their list of recognized schools in the state. Lindisfarne Hall is listed on the Dept. of Ed. Web site

• On April 19, the Fernandina Beach Board of Adjustments approved a variance to allow use of Scott King Hall for Lindisfarne Hall classes until December 31, 2019

• On April 25, the Board of Lindisfarne Hall met with Architect John Cotner for the first time. Preliminary plans are being developed for a beautiful school building which will be in the carpenter Gothic style to compliment the Chapel and the Parish Hall
