Belmont was founded in 1890. Alumni include Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood, Ian Clark, and Tamara Johnson-George.

“I really enjoyed Belmont University! Their campus was very beautiful. During basketball season, students shoot from the half court and, if they make it, they get that semester paid for!” —Antonaya Covington “I liked the bells at Belmont University. At Christmas, students and their families come and ring the bells. I liked that every student must do an internship in their junior year. The internship helps them get ready for a real job and helps with interviews and resume writing.” —Tynesha Jones

Tennessee State University is a land grant university founded in 1912. It is the only state-funded, historically black university in Tennessee.

At Escape Game Nashville, the students chose the Underground Playground which was themed as a kindergarten class attempting to be promoted to 1st grade. In order to be promoted, the students had to work together to figure out codes and riddles. Even though they did not escape, the students agreed it was an awesome experience.
