SPECIAL STEELS
THE MIXING DRUM OF THE L&T
TRUCK MIXERS IS MADE OF
WEAR-PROOF STEELS: the 30MnB5
steel is used for standard series and
the IMER WEAR for the superlight
series. Both steels have chemical and
mechanical characteristics that are
absolutely superior to the commonly
used steels.
For the 30MnB5, its high content of
chromium and boron guarantees a real
resistance to the wear and tear caused
by concrete.
For the IMER WEAR, its resistance
allows to reduce the steel sheet
thickness to 3 mm (really lighter),
keeping, or better, increasing, drum life.

THANKS TO THE EXCLUSIVE
DESIGN OF THE MIXING BLADES
The exclusive design of the mixing
blades guarantees a mixture
homogeneity in all the drum
sections, keeping and improving the
characteristics of the transported
concrete.
L&T truck mixers meet the norms DIN
1045 – DIN 459 – AS 1371 ANNEX
“A” concerning the dry mixing
capacity.

TRUCK MIXERS
The L&T Truck Mixers are a real
system for concrete mixing and
transport according to high quality
and functional standards. Each
technical detail has been conceived,
designed and realized in order to make
the mixers work in perfect harmony
with the truck chassis destined for their
transport. A wide range of capacities
from 4 to 12 m3 of vibrated concrete
always guarantees low tares and
optimised carrying capacities.
All L&T Truck Mixers are equipped
with hydraulic transmissions and
gearboxes that allow to reach
the maximum rotation speed of
the mixing drum when the vehicle is
at 1500 revolutions/1’ (in comparison
with the usual 1800 revolutions/1’).
Such a characteristic allows
to diminish the fuel consumption,
to reduce the wear and tear and
to respect the environment (thanks
to the low sound emissions) and to
increase the service life of the engine.

For managing the drum form the cabin.
DRUM SAFETY LOCK
All the IMER Group truck mixers are
provided with a special antirotation
mechanical locking device. This mechanism,
essential and easy to use, ensures the
absolute safety of all maintenance
operations inside the mixing drum.
FLIP-OVER CHUTE
Its ergonomy allows a practical and safe use
thanks to the anti- trapping and anti-shear device
(available in various lengths).
ELECTRIC CONTROL WITH CSD SYSTEM
For a constant speed of rotation of the mixing
drum regardless of the speed of the vehicle
motor, the IMER Group truck mixers can be
fi tted with the CSD device integrated in the
control panel for the electro-hydraulic controls
(option).
REAR WORKING LIGHT
The rear area of all truck mixers is the most
diffi cult to control. The installation of the rear
working light guarantees their perfect visibility
in all operating conditions.

It is compact and easy to clean.
SINGLE CHUTE ARM WITH
OPTIMISED BRAKE
The single chute support features better availability
for roller greasing and access to the drum rotation
block. The handwheel offers a more ergonomic grip
and makes the chute “braking” operation quicker
and easier.
MANHOLE CONFIGURATION
WITH NEW SEAL
The new type of oval manhole is very linear
in appearance because there are no protrusions
where the material can pile up and it has
a perfect seal due to the use of a thick,
oval-shaped gasket.
MECHANICAL GEARBOX TO MEET
YOUR NEEDS
It is oversized to meet the high torque demanded
by the concrete drum.

HYDRAULIC PUMP SUPPORT
The innovative support is bolted onto the
subframe in an intermediate position to
cover almost all the PTO pump positions,
resulting in a great advantage for our
fi tters.

NEW FALL-PREVENTION SYSTEM
The new fall-prevention system has been
engineered to keep within the machine
clearance and to avoid taking the right
handoff when going up to the platform.
The system is operated directly by the
operator when he is on the platform.
REAR BUMPER
The rear bumper (also available
in retractable and fi xed version) is
extremely safe, practical to use
and very fl exibile on site.
SUPERLIGHT EXTENSION CHUTES
The standard supply includes two
“superlight” polystone extension chutes.
Their lightness (only 7 kg) makes them
extremely easy to handle, cutting down
the risk of accidents to a minimum.

Special “anticatch” barriers ensure safety
on the road and in the working site during
the usual operations of the truck mixer.

The slip proof steps and the
larger platform allow a perfect
visual of the concrete in safety.
CLOSING FLAP
The simple and practical closing fl ap stands out
for its cost effi ciency in preventing the spills of
grouts and concrete residues during the move-
ments of the discharge chute, avoiding pollution
to the environment in the vicinity of the casting
operation.
OPTIONALS
TOOL BOX
“A place for everything, everything in its place”.
Sometimes wasting time, or even losing tools along
the way, can be not only costly but also extremely
dangerous.
ADDITIVE TANK
The stainless-steel pressure tank for additi-
ves is provided with a pressure-control safety
system and a level control for perfect metering.
The corrosion-resistant tank is fi tted with a
large safety cap for fast and easy fi lling.
VIBRATOR ON DISCHARGE CHUTE
This dispositive allows, during the discharge,
an optimum fl ow even in presence of special
concrete.
SIDE PROTECTION GUARDS
Their function is to protect the vehicle from
the eventual corrosive action of the special
concrete and demoulding chemicals.
LT555 TELESCOPIC CHUTE
The LT 555 telescopic chute is an
important accessory designed to increase
the versatility of the L&T truck mixer.
The LT 555 telescopic chute, extending
to 4.5 metres in length (5.5 metres with
the funnel end), can be ordered in all
models. Reliable and safe, with a stainless-
steel construction: it is light, strong and
extremely manoeuvrable, both vertically
and radially.

ECOLOGICAL HYDRAULIC PLUG
The charging of dry material in the
batching plant and the following mixing in
the drum mixer are a cause of dust spills
from the drum: this closing device defi nitely
solves this problem. Adapting the L&T
truck mixers to a philosophy of respect for
health and the environment is fast and
convenient.
HYDRAULIC HALF PLUG
To carry particularly fl uid material on rough
or steep terrain, it becomes necessary to
install the hydraulic half plug to prevent
spills of polluting material during the
journey or inside the work yard.
TRUCK MIXERS

These special truck mixers are installed
on large building sites and are able to
transport up to 14 m3 of concrete. They
are usually installed on large building
sites, so the truck is immediately free
and can be used for other operations.
This mixer is absolutely independent
from the truck and it is a stock of
concrete ready to be used on site.
It is available with 2 or 3 axles
depending on the local regulations or
the number of the axles of the truck.

The new range of SUPER LIGHT
truck mixers has been completely
redesigned to guarantee maximum
payload, in full compliance with the
weight limits of the traffi c regulations.
Thanks to the special IMER WEAR
steel, it is superlight and much more
wear resistant.
The mixing drum is realized in
special IMER WEAR steel having
mechanical characteristics superior
to the materials utilized so far for
constructing truck mixers. The wear
resistance of the IMER WEAR steel
allows to reduce the steel sheet
thickness up to 3 mm, keeping, or
better, increasing, its life.
