News from the Churches:
Trace Creek: Trace Creek has had a very rewarding summer. Our VBS was a big success. We had three children accept our Lord during that week. We had a very inspiring revival in August with Evangelist, Terry Wilkerson and we had some decisions made for the Lord. Christians in Action was here in August and we had a fellowship after their performance. The mission trip to Kenya was a great success, and the group shared with us their rewards from it during worship service, Aug. 26th. Awana started back on August 22nd. They meet every Wednesday night from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. We serve a meal starting at 5:30 PM every Wednesday before Awana for the children. Our Church picnic will be Sunday, September 23rd. Our Community Thanksgiving service will be Sunday night, Nov. 18th. We have had four new members join our fellowship by baptism. Please continue to pray for our church as we minister in our community.
