Oakwood’s Sergeant Cameron ReedSaves a Life on I-271

August11thof2018startedasanormaldayinwhichoneofourofficer’swasworkingtheside job on I-271 in the construction zone. His job was to help slow traffic’s speed whileapproaching theconstructionarea.Thisdetailwouldhaveanofficerworkinganywhere fromWarrensvilleHtstoMacedoniaonthehighwaydependingwheretheconstructionwasoccurring. Trafficbegantobackupinthecontraflowlane,whichisafirstresponders’nightmare,withasingle lane,noberms,encasedwithconcreteconstructionwallsoneachside. Oncethetraffic is backed up it requires responding units to backtrack several miles to get to theemergency,ifpossible.

Janet Taylor, 52, of California, was drivingsouthon271inthecontraflowlanewhenshewentintocardiac arrest. This would become another tragedy toreportduetothelocation,howeveritturnedouttobeherlucky day, with Oakwood officer, Sergeant Cameron Reed,workingtrafficcontrolnearby.ApassingmotoristalertedtheofficerwhoimmediatelyrantothevehicleandfoundJanetunconsciousandnotbreathing.HewasabletofreeherfromthevehicleandbeginlifesavingCPR. Janet’sluckcontinued,unbelievablyashorttimelater,aHudson Fire Dept Squadwasreturningfromatransportandnearedthesceneontheoppositesideoftheconcretebarriers.Kokosing Construction workerswitnesses the emergency and immediately started tomove thebarriers toassist in theefforts.HudsonEMSpersonnel,Eric PohlandDiana McMurtrey relievedtheOakwoodofficer,tookoverCPRandtransportedherto

thehospital.IreceivedseveralcallsandemailsfromtheHudsonFireChief,HospitalpersonnelandJanet’sfamilyallwhoagreedemphaticallythatwithouttheOakwoodofficerReed’sinitialeffortsstartingCPR,JanetTaylorwouldnothavesurvived. The implementation of the concept of diversity actually divided thechildrenwhowereonceonlyAmericanstudentsstrivingforaneducation.Rather,themirageof diversity has separated the students by race, heritage, gender; assimilation has beenreplacedbyconfrontation.Nolongeraretheyjudgedbyachievementsandgrades,butbyskincolor and ethnicity. The buzz word, “equality,” is now applied to outcome, rather than toopportunity,sothatstandardsmustbeloweredtoprovideallwithanequalcomfortlevel.Thus,leadinguniversitiesbegantoestablishaquotasystembasedongroupidentityinsteadofonindividual ability, encouraging diversity but using it to separate one from another, pit oneagainst theother,anddiminish the importanceof thecamaraderieandcommonalityof theschoolexperienceandAmericanism.Thisissocialengineering–denyingthisgenerationtheaptitudeandintellecttodiscernfactfromfiction,rightfromwrong. Anotherinjusticeensuedwhenyoungwomenwereblamingchauvinismforthejobstheydidnotland,forcingcompaniestomakethenecessaryhiringaccommodationsbygenderandethnicity,ratherthantalentandability,apalpableprobleminmedicineandotherfields.SuchwasthecaseoftheObama-eraFAAhiringrulesthatplacedairtrafficcontrollerdiversityaheadofsafety.Menwerenownotsucceedingastheirfathershad,notabletosupporttheirfamiliesiftheymarried,andoftennotmarryingbecausetheyoungwomenaremanagingwellenoughwithsocialistwelfarechecks.Thefathersarepushedtoabandonwhatshouldhavebeentheirnewfamily. Manyyoungwomeninschoolhavebeenimbuedwithadisrespect,evencontempt,formen,particularlywhitemen,whichvilifiesourhistoryandsuppressesaflourishingcivilization.It was certainly evident with the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, when women were seen screaming and pounding on locked doors, willinglycharginghimwithunprovencrimes.Further, theassaulton freespeechgivescredence tosilencinganyonewiththeaccusationof“hatespeech,”or“behavioraltransgressions.”Boysand youngmenwho, through the ages, have been the ones to initiate courtship are nowdeterredbecauseofpotentialaccusationsofoffensivespeechoraggression.ManyuniversitiesnowemployaBiasHotline,whereanyonemayreportanyconductorspeechseenasoffensive,intimidating, demeaning, degrading, marginalizing, victimizing or threatening to anotherindividual.Thevictimcouldbefined,suspended,orevendismissedfromtheschool. Another depreciating and seriously damaging influence is the schools’ indoctrinatingyoung children to accept transgenderism, replacing our pronouns for two genderswith anappallingvarietyofchoices,sothatteachersmaybefirediftheyaccidentallylapseintotheGod-giventwo.Nontraditionalfamiliesandcross-dressingarealsoapproved.Boyswhohavealwaysbeenacclaimedforhealthymasculinetraitsthatenablethemtosucceedinourmilitaryandpoliceforcesmaynowbesubjectedtoridicule,harassmentandshamebytheteacher.Isitanywonderthatthesuiciderateforboysisfourtimeshigherthanthatofgirls? Andfinally(orisit?),citingevidencethatboyshavebecomemaladjusted,lowachievers,truantsanddelinquents,inattentiveandrebellious,depressedanddesperate,withashorterlifeexpectancy,BrownUniversityhasimplementedaprogramto“unlearntoxicmasculinity,”whichcanonlyfurtheremasculateboys.Ratherthananalyzesociety’sroleinweakeninganddevaluingthem,robbingthemoftheirnaturalmalenessandfunction,thisuniversityhaschosentohastentheprocess.AndcanIevenfindthewordstodiscusstheleftistassaultonoursanity,astheydeclarethatboyscanmenstruate?Werecognizethestrategies,butwhatliesbehindthiswaragainstourmalepopulation? Thepowerhungrywhoseektoruletheglobeasonegoverningentity,globalists,(includingour own Shadow Government) or caliphates, do not have the manpower and defensetechnologytoovercomeourpopulation,ourcitizens’abilitiesandspirit,sothatothermeanswouldhavetobefound.TheonlycourseopentoglobalistsistooverwhelmAmericanswithanalienpopulation;hence,wearebeingbesetbythemigrantmassesanddeterminedoppositiontotheborderwallforprotection.AnotherwouldbetoweakenAmericaasPresidentObamadepletedourmilitarybyspendingdownandsending~$33.6billiontoIran,reducingourarmedservicesandallowingequipmenttoagewithoutreplacement,anddenigratingourpolice. ThestrategyofweakeningAmerica’smanpowerisbeingimplementedinordertoensurethatouryouth,our futuremilitary, remainuninspired,untrained,andemasculated. Wetalkedaboutthegiftwehadineachotherthoseeightyearswewalked.Shewasayoungmotherofthreeandmyselfayoungnewlywed.Iadmiredherwisdomandsheadmiredmyconfidentspunk.Wewalkedthehillsofourcountryroadsandsometimestookdifferentpaths. One particular morning, we added another mile to our walkpassingalocalpigfarm.Wehadnoticedseveralpigslooseinthefrontyard.Weweren’ttooworriedaswetriedtogingerlypassthefarmunnoticed.Itightlygrippedmyson’sbabystrollerandquietlywalked.Wehadalmostmadeitpastthefarmwhenahumongousblackandwhitepigstartedchargingatus.DianeandIbothwentintomommymode.Dianeyelled,“Run”!Ididjustthatandthenthrewhermyson’sbabyblanketforprotection.AssoonasIgotthestrollertoasafedistanceIturnedaround.Loandbehold,Dianewasholdingtheblanketlikeatoreadorinabullfightdancingbackandforthwiththepig.Icouldnotcontainmylaughter!Dianemadearunforitandluckilytiredthepigoutsomuchhelazilyturnedaroundandsaunteredhome.Duringourphonecallweremindedeachotheraboutthathystericalwalk–oneforthebooksforsure. As Iwassittingonmybedduringourconversation, rightacross frommeonmydressersatasmall,woodenblackandwhitepig.Yes,IhadrelayedthestorytomybestfriendinWashingtonD.C. and thenextweek I received thepig in themail. Over theyears I’vealwayskeptitnearbytoremembertheimportanceoffriendshipandlaughter.DianeandIhaveadateinSpringtotakeanice,longwalk–oneofmanymoretocome.I’msoverygratefulforhercallthateveningandforthefloodofmemoriesthatreturnedtome,butmainlyfortheopportunitytoreawakenanoldfriendship.

WHO GETS TO KEEP MORE OF YOUR MONEY ILLEGALLY, IRS OR SCAMMERS?

ByEdDeGraffinried,AccurateTaxService If every tax payer reads this story, and become proactive, theymay be able to savebillionsofdollarsthisyear.Let’sstartwithwaystheIRSgetstokeeptoomuchofyourmoney,actuallyit’swithinthelaw:1. They have sponsored programs, such as VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) and TCE (Tax Counseling for the Elderly). In the VITA Program, volunteers do your taxes free if your income is not over $54,000. There are a few problems that allow too much of your money to stay with the IRS. Many people, some in that same category, say to me “I do my own taxes or my friend do my taxes free”.a. Many volunteers are students learning to do taxes, others might be bored retirees. Icommendthesepeoplefortheirefforttogivebacktotheircommunities;but,manymistakesaremadebecausemostvolunteersarenotexperiencedtaxaccountants.Approximately30%ofthereturnsIlookedoveraftertheyweredone“FREE”haderrors,andabout80%ofthoseerrorsgavetoomuchofyourmoneytotheIRS.Hereareafewexamples.b. Ayoungladycalledformetodoher2010taxes,andIaskedhertobringher2009returnforasecondlook.Iinformedherthatherrefundwasshortby$4,000becauseshedidnotgether$3,000EarnedIncomeTaxCredit,norher$1,000EducationCredit.Shesaidthepersonthatdidherfreereturn,toldhershewasnoteligibleforEICbecauseherbabywasborninAugust2009anddidnot livewithhermore thansixmonths.Shepaid$36,000 inCollegeTuition,butitwasinputasTuitionandFees,whichisnotrefundable.TheinputshouldhavebeenfortheAmericanOpportunityCredit,whichprovidesupto$1,000refund.c. ApersonwasrecentlydirectedtomytaxofficebyacurrentclientwhoknewshewasnotsupposetobetaxedagainwhendrawingtheoriginalcontributionfromaRothIRAregardlessofage.Unfortunately, the threeyearstatuteof limitationhadexpiredandshecouldnotgether$1,158thatwasdoubletaxespaidwhenshewithdrewfundsfromherRothIRAin2011.Shewasalsodoubletaxed$3,650byhavingitdoneatthesamefreeplaceagainin2014.TheexpiredstatuteoflimitationisactuallyalegalwayfortheIRStoholdontoyourtaxoverpayment.d. IRSTaxTiponhealthcare2014-07,implementedinMarchof2014,butmaderetroactivefor2013and2014,allowsstates topayparentsTAXFREEmoney for takingcareof theirdisabledadultchildrenathome.Thisprogramhasnotbeenverywellpublicized;therefore,mosttaxpreparersdon’tknowaboutit.Acouplehadbeenoverpayingoneofthebig3fortaxpreparation,untiloneofmylongtimeclientssentthemtomein2017forpreparingtheir2016taxes.Theybroughtseveralyearsofreturnsforustotakeasecondlook.Theyhadoverpaidanaverageof$10,000peryear2012 through2015.Weamended their returns forall fouryearsandcrossedourfingersandtoes,LOL.Theywereimmediatelypaidfor2014and2015.Thestatuteoflimitationhadexpiredfor2012.Ihadthemsignallfouramendedreturnsandstapledeachyear separately.The IRSsent the2013 returnback, stating theydidnotgetsignaturesbecausethesecondpagewasmissing.AftertheysignedandsentittothemagainafterApril15of2017,theysaiditwastoolate,whichisacommonpracticeoftheirs.Iwatchedthemsigneverything. Duetotimeandspace,weonlylistedafewofthemanysituationswitnessedduringthelastfewyears.TheIRSdoesnotkeepyourmoneyillegally,butcongressshouldnotlimitthetimeneededfortaxpayerstoprovetheIRSowethemmoney!2. Most scammers that take advantage of other tax payers are disguised as professional tax preparers. I’m fed up with them taking other people’s money, so I will give you a few examples of how they work. Those that scam the IRS is beyond the scope of this articlea. ThebiggestandfirstredflagiswhenthepreparerdoesnotgiveyouacopyofYOURtaxreturn.b. ApersoncametomyofficeafewyearsbackandbroughtIRStranscriptsofherpreviousyearsreturns,becauseheraunt’sfriendwhosaidshedidthereturnsfreebutdidnotgiveheracopy.Ilookedatthefirstreturnandaskedwhydidherrefundgointotwocheckingaccounts.Shesaidthatsheonlyhadonebankaccount.Thepreparerhadsentover$2,000tothetaxpayer,and$300tothe“FREE”taxpreparer’scheckingaccount.Myclientaskedheraunttogetatranscriptand,youguessedit,thesamethinghadhappened.c. Aladycameintomyofficeacoupleweeksagoandsaidshewantedtogetahousebutthebanktoldherthelast2017returnwasdoneincorrectly.Isaw$39,000ofbusinessexpenses.ShelookedverysurprisedwhenIaskedwhatkindofbusinesssheoperates.Shewasn’tgivenacopyofthereturnuntiltheclientdemandeditforthebank.Iaskedherwhathappenedtoher$980staterefund.Shesaidthatshewasnotexpectingone.WecalledtheOhioDepartmentofTaxation,andwasshockedwhentoldthatthemoneyhadgoneonacardthatdidnotbelongtotheclient.Thepreparersaidshehadonlycharged$125.d. OneofmyclientshasadaughterlivinginMichigan.ThedaughtercalledandfaxedacopyoftheauditlettershehadgottenfromtheIRS,askinghertoexplainthe$40,000businessexpensededuction.Shewasnotgivenacopyofhertaxreturn,andwastoldthatshebrokeeven,butthetranscriptshowedthata$9,000refundhadgoneintoanunknowncheckingaccount.Whenshewentbacktotheothertaxpreparer,theyhadmovedoutandlefttheofficeempty.e. Anotherladyearnedabout$19,000andonlyhadoneW2.Herrefundfor2012and2013wasaround$11,000eachyear,sooneofthebig3hadcharged$700and$600.It’sillegaltochargeapercentageoranyfeebasedontherefund. No one ever survived a Roman crucifixion. Jesus proved His deity by dying on the cross and his resurrection from death on the third day.
