Day 03 Full day BOSPHORUS & ASIA TOUR; visit the EGYPTIANSPICE MARKET, and then embark on a BOSPHORUS BOAT TOURviewing the beauty of the European and Asian shorelines oneither side. Day 02 Full day tour to the ancient city of EPHESUS. Visit theHOUSE OF THE VIRGIN MARY, and then the Basilica of St. John(who accompanied the Virgin Mary to Ephesus), the CelsusLibrary, the marble paved Arcadian Road, the Brothel, theRoman Baths, the Theater where St. Paul preached, the Templeof Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World),and see the statue of Ephesian Artemis while touring theArcheological Museum of Ephesus in Selcuk. Day 03 Depart to PERGAMON to visit the ACROPOLIS in thecity built on four terraces perched upon a hill, overlooking theBergama Plain. Day 01 Meet at your ANKARA hotel, or upon early morningarrival of your flight at ANKARA Airport. In the morning visit theMuseum of Anatolian Civilizations (which is housed in a restoredCaravanserai), and the Mausoleum of Kemal Ataturk, the founderof modern Turkey. After lunch, proceed to CAPPADOCIA, wherenature has scoured surrealistic moonscape shapes, and thepersecuted Christians dug underground cities and churchesduring the 9th century. Day 02 Full day touring in CAPPADOCIA; visit the GOREME Open-Air-Museum with its fairy chimneys and dozens of cave churchesdecorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes fromthe Bible, the ZELVE Valley, the natural Citadel of UCHISAR, thepottery town AVANOS.
