i want to show sth about our cuisine. We have a large cuisine. Maybe because of Ottoman Emprie. Ottoman Emprie had variety etnic groups and by the way their culture mixed.

• Our kebap’s are so famous. This summer, i met a french old man in little village reataurant in Şirince. And he said “ it is wonderful.” and he ate it very big pleasure. i dont know a person who isnt like kebaps(of course not vegetarian:)

LAHMACUN and saying “lehmecun” is so funny, i think.

ÇİĞ KÖFTE. Oooh..i love it very much.it is hot and very delicious. I have to eat it after the course.:)

KARNIYARIK(“slit belly”). it is another favorute. in school, we dance for it:) it is very delicious with yoğurt.

i cant think a world without yoğurt.

and cansu and me always speak in school lunch. And we ask “ how can foreigner live without yoğurt?” and now, i am asking you.

hamsi with egg. My dad cooks it very well. And now, my mother cooking hamsi. But it isnt with egg, it is in boil. And their friends will come us this evening.

You cant eat hamsi in eagen reagion. You can eat it in marmara but it isnt original. İt is hamsi of marmara. Orijinal is our hamsi.it is hamsi of blacksea. In east blacksea, peoples can eat it in everything. It is real. They cook eat it variety ways. And i think, they dont cook it only in cakes. :):):)

and i live in home of hazelnut. Our town and neighbours; Ordu and other blacksea cities are famous with their hazelnuts,fishes and tea.

“A cup of tea has forty years sake.

After drink it; you invert the cup and wait a while. Than, if someone understand to look fortune, she talks about your fortune. Some womens know it, for example Aunt Ebru.

In turkey, rakı is the official national drink. Greek’s “ouzo” is similar.(our lots of things are similar

beacuse they lived for a long time in Ottoman Empire.”
