EcoLogic Development FundEcoLogic works with rural communities in to help them become better environmental stewards in order to conserve forests and water and improve people’s living conditions. Focusing on communities where poverty is extreme, we foster a truly sustainable kind of development—one where protecting nature and addressing human needs are mutually reinforcing.

Since being founded in 1993, EcoLogic and our local partners have strengthened community participation in conservation in 687 communities, established sustainable management in over two million hectares of critical forest and marine areas, and protected over 1,200 water sources.

Our programs place a priority on local participation and leadership development, not only because it’s socially just, but because it’s essential for the effective, long-term conservation of threatened and unique ecosystems. To carry out this strategy, we partner with local organizations that reflect the values and interests of the communities they serve. This approach allows us to adapt our work to local contexts while promoting long-term sustainability and social change.

As a sponsor of our annual benefit, you can feel secure that your investment will be used to help EcoLogic fulfill its mission.
