and what He want to do in and through YOU.
APOSTLE ANDREW LESSONS FROM HIS LIFE
INTRODUCING ANDREW THE FISHERMAN
The next day John was there again with two of his
disciples. 36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said,
“Look, the Lamb of God!”
37 When the two disciples heard him say this, they
followed Jesus.38 Turning around, Jesus saw them
following and asked, “What do you want?”
They said, “Rabbi” (which means “Teacher”), “where
are you staying?”
39 “Come,” he replied, “and you will see.”
So they went and saw where he was staying, and
they spent that day with him. It was about four in the
afternoon. John 1:35-39

“Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard
what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41 The first thing
Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have
found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to
Jesus.” John 1:40-42
RIGHT HEART FOR MINISTRY
WHAT IS A GOOD CHURCH LEADERSHIP MODEL?

For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, 24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, 25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. 1 Corinthians 12:14-26

IMMENSE VALUE IN SMALL AND MODEST THINGS
When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward
him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these
people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already
had in mind what he was going to do.
7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s
wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”
8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke
up,9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small
fish, but how far will they go among so many?” John 6:5-9
“But God has chosen the foolish
things of the world to shame the
wise, and God has chosen the weak
things of the world to shame the
things which are strong, and the
base things of the world and the
despised God has chosen, the things
that are not, so that He may nullify
the things that are, so that no man
may boast before God.”
1 Corinthians 1:27-29

IMMENSE VALUE IN SMALL AND MODEST THINGS
“The kingdom of heaven is like a
grain of mustard seed that a man
took and sowed in his field.32 It is the
smallest of all seeds, but when it has
grown it is larger than all the garden
plants and becomes a tree, so that
the birds of the air come and make
nests in its branches.”
Matthew 13:31-32

COME AND MEET JESUS
“Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to
worship at the festival.21 They came to Philip, who was from
Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. “Sir,” they said, “we would
like to see Jesus.”22 Philip went to tell Andrew; Andrew and Philip
in turn told Jesus.” John 12:20-22
COME AND SEE JESUS
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD,
plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future
and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come
and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek
me and find me, when you seek me with all your
heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the LORD.
Jeremiah 29:11-14
