177 Project Tour On Monday, October 21st, the

177 Project will be visiting

Our Lady of Fatima Parish.

The 177 Project is a nation-

wide tour designed to help

bring more people into Eucha-

ristic Adoration. The night begins with an

acoustic concert before moving into a Holy

Hour. Confession will be available. The even-

ing begins at 7pm and no tickets are necessary.

The event is free to attend. A love offering will

be taken. Lee Roessler will be the artist

traveling for this event.

Please Pray for the people of Haiti Dear Our Lady of Fatima Parishioners:

I am happy to get in touch with you and

hoping my email finds you in good

health.

Anyway I want to share with you news about Haiti

and Baudin.

Since I have been back in Haiti there have been many

political and social troubles. Many crowds are fighting

government by blocking the roads and streets with fire

and big trucks. There are many people wounded. Po-

lice officers are shooting everyday and many people

are dying. Many schools have serious difficulties in

operating in all the country, but our school in Baudin

is still working correctly without great problems. Most

of the students in the secondary school have come

back, but we still are waiting for many more in the

primary school.

Last night we had heavy rains that flooded the area of

Baudin killing animals, destroying trees,

gardens and some houses.

Next week we will pay salaries to the teachers because

the first month of the school year is now done. Thank

you very much to you who are in the Godchild pro-

gram and for what you are doing for the church, the

school and the students in OLPH of

Baudin. May God continue to bless you and all the

committee members of Haiti Godchild

Me complace comunicarme con ustedes y

espero que mi correo electrónico los encuentre en

buena salud. De todos modos, quiero compartir con

ustedes noticias sobre Haití y Baudin.

Desde que regresé a Haití ha habido muchos prob-

lemas políticos y sociales. Muchas multitudes están

luchando contra el gobierno al bloquear las

carreteras y calles con fuego y grandes camiones. Hay

muchas personas heridas. Los agentes de policía

disparan todos los días y muchas personas mueren.

Muchas escuelas tienen serias dificultades para operar

en todo el país, pero nuestra escuela en Baudin sigue

funcionando correctamente sin grandes problemas. La

mayoría de los estudiantes en la escuela secundaria

han regresado, pero todavía estamos esperando

muchos más en la escuela primaria.

Anoche tuvimos fuertes lluvias que inundaron el área

de Baudin matando animales, destruyendo árboles,

jardines y algunas casas.

La próxima semana pagaremos salarios a los maestros

porque el primer mes del año escolar ya terminó.

Muchas gracias a ustedes que están en el

programa de ahijados y por lo que están haciendo por

la iglesia, la escuela y los estudiantes en OLPH de
