When not writing about cats, Alana enjoys drawing them (anddogs, too!) and taught herself how to do so using the medium of charcoals andchalks. The image you see here is a based on a photograph she took of her twogrey cats, Louie and Pinkle, and is done in chalks and white charcoal on blackpaper.

Marci Kladnik is the retiring CWA President and Muse-winning writer andphotographer. She devotes her life to all things cat, with a little dog tossed in tokeep things real. She only adopts rescue dogs that like cats. Retired and livingwith four rescue cats and one dog in a tiny town with no stoplights or maildelivery, Marci writes, TNR’s the local ferals, fosters kittens and injured adultcats, and gardens.
