  • According to PLN statistic data costumers in

    Central Java increase about 3.5 % every years.

    That makes the usage of electrical energy

    growing steadily while indonesia is in state of

    electrical crisis resulting in power cutting in

    random area.

    Because of that we need to saving the electrical

    energy from household, business, and industry

    sectors

  • How to Save Energy in Household Sector?• Increasing the awareness of costumer’s electrical

    usage

    • Replacing the conventional tools with the energy

    saving one

    For example, bulb usage is one of energy

    saving.

  • One way to increase the costumers awareness is time managing

    Example : every houses must turning off 2 bulbs in specific time

    (ex: 5pm – 10pm). That bulb has 10 watts. Then, every houses

    can save about 100 watts.

    And every months saving = Rp 9,607,413,426.75 = Rp 9.6

    billion with just the awareness from citizen to turn bulb off from

    this household sector, or this can save up to 18GWh

  • Beside awareness, we can save the energy with another

    method, that is with replacing the conventional bulb with the

    energy-saving bulb

    For example, every houses replace 3 conventional bulb with

    the energy-saving bulb, then we can analyze for using energy-

    saving bulb, we can save such amount of kW

    our money to buy the energy saving bulb.

    Even, in next months, every houses make such a profit

    after using the energy-saving bulb.

    And, the important is, with using this energy-saving bulb,

    Central Java can save money up to Rp 26.9 billion just

    from household sector.

    For example, saving energy can be done just with

    replacing conventional bulb with energy-saving lamp, just

    like in household sector.

    exchanger.

    With the data as below, we can analyze advantages of

    using a heat exchanger than the boiler

    Point) in the next 11 months from the time of initial

    purchase.

    And when calculated by the turn of heat exchanger the

    importance of the profit of Rp 66.036.872/month, with the

    amount of 106 hotels, include two star hotels to five star.

    Just like in household sector and business sector, there’s two ways to saving energy

    • Increasing the awareness of costumer’s electrical

    usage

    • Replacing the conventional tools with the energy

    saving one

    usage electrical tools. Assume every consumer of

    industry sector turning off 6 bulbs in 5 hours.

    After counting, this sector can save up to

    Rp.156,930,955.20/month, if we convert it into kWh, we

    can save up to 242,028 kWh/month.
