The walk has been put together by the Land Yeo Friends, a volunteer group who help to look after the Land Yeo River which runs through the town of Clevedon. The circular walk is 6 miles (9.66 kilometres) and is part fields and part pavements, following some of the course of the Land Yeo and Clevedon's other river The Blind Yeo. Part of the walk uses permissive paths and therefore dog walkers must keep their animals on a lead when going through fields, as they may contain livestock. The route has been designed by The Land Yeo Friends (LYF), utilising some public footpaths which have been waymarked. Users must be suitably attired and we must make it clear that the LYF take no liability for persons using the walk. For people not wishing to walk the full six miles, there are shorter alternatives:- 1. Queens Square towards the Yearling Ditch ,- follow route as far as Kenn Road then turn right following footpath on Kenn Rd back to the start. This walk is 4.25 miles (6.84 kilometres). 2. From Kenn Road bridge over the Blind Yeo, - follow the Blind Yeo towards Cleve- don Pill, then follow the Land Yeo to Queens Square and back along Kenn Road. 3.25 miles (5.23 kilometres). We would like to thank North Somerset Council, Clevedon Town Council, Paceprint and the Environment Agency for the great help which they have provided to ensure the success of this project, and also the local land owners who have allowed us to place permissive paths through their land.
