The BeersNo74 (4.5%) - Rich Amber malts giving a stunning ambercolour and rich spicy flavours from the hops - is our amberale, rich in colour as it is in flavour, roasted malts andhopped to give fruity, slightly spicy notes with the hint oforangeSpey IPA (3.5%) - Light and fresh with a great kick of hops- Is a combination the best water, ingredients. With 4
malts & new world hops giving a refreshing citrus aromawith hints of Grassy, Lemon & Spicy aromas.Angus Pale Ale (4%) - A stunning clean & crisp pale ale -Lightly hopped to give a smell of sweet fruits such asgrapes and peaches, while at the same time havingessence of woody & grassy elements.
The ProcessA standard hand brewing process is used for a 2.5 barrelplant. The process takes a total of 14 days and consists of- Brew day from 8am to 5pm, 3 days in fermentation tanksand then 10 days in conditioning tanks. There is definitescope to increase to a double brew which would lead toincreased profit.
PropertyThe brewery is of timber construction with a metal profilesheet roof. Double timber glazed doors with a paneleither side open at the front and there is a furtherwindow to the front. The main brewery room has a basestorage unit incorporating a stainless steel sink with mixertap and there is a spacious store for housing the productsand equipment. There is concrete flooring, full insulation,power and lighting throughout.
GroundsThere is an area to the front of the brewery which is partconcrete and part gravel and offers parking for twovehicles. A high level timber fence surrounds the propertyand double timber gates and a single timber gate allowaccess at the front. There is a Greenflame biomass boiler.
Equipment ListThere is a large equipment and stock list which allows forimmediate production and includes fermentation andconditioning tanks, mash tun, cooling units, scales,bottles, malts etc. The list is too large to detail here and aexcel spreadsheet inventory can be made available toviewers.
Business Growth PotentialWe believe there is significant scope to increase salesthrough greater website awareness and sales promotions,
capitalising upon the significant tourist clientèle and localand national demand. In addition the current ownerswork restricted hours and there is ample opportunity toincrease this including expanding operations to cover themany outdoor events and exhibitions held throughout theSpey Valley and the wider community. There is currentlyone ad hoc employee who has a wealth of brewingknowledge and would allow any purchaser to hit theground running.
