• WHAT CONSTITUTES A FOREIGN BOND?– DEFINITION: foreign bonds are bond offered
in another currency outside the issuers country of origin
– Example:• a yankee bond is a foreign bond denominated in
U.S. dollars issued in the U.S. by a Canadian firm
