Types of Sentences

Kaboom

Kaboom

Directions: Cut the following sentences apart, mix up, and place in a Pringles can. Divide class into 2 teams. A student from one team will pull out a sentence strip and read aloud. They must decide if it is an asking, telling, or excited sentence. If they are correct they get a point for their

team. If they are incorrect they do not get a point. The strip goes back in the can and it is

the next team’s turn. If a strip is pulled out with the word Kaboom, the whole team loses all points

earned. You can go here

to get a free copy of a Kaboom label that fits perfectly on a Pringles can. I use one can and just change out the strips when we need to practice a

new skill.
