Match reports: Opponent: Bury AMT Tigers Date: 14/09/13 Venue: Home Result: 3-3 Match report Pennine were robbed of all points with a controversial penalty in the very last seconds of the game. Our first game at MM the lads looked well at home passing the opponents off the pitch. Raza Hassan was the star of the show cutting holes in the Tigers defence. Eventually one such move resulted with a cross from the right being met by Tyler Kneale to score his first goal of the season. New players Rhys Mansfield and Hamaad Assad slotting in nicely into the team. Rhys in particular looking well suited on the left midfield. Pennine finished the half 1-0 The second half continued in the same vein Hassan and Holyhead setting up Robinson for his first goal and shortly afterwards his second. Josh played well up front holding up play and linking with the midfield. Kneale should have added to his tally but several chances were saved by the Tigers Keeper. The Whites should have been out of sight before the Pennine defence was eventually breached twice but it looked like they would hold out until a shot hit Captain fantastic Fogarty on the arms. The ref harshly deemed it a penalty which was put away with the very last kick of the game. A draw was a creditable result particularly when you consider last season we lost 11-1 to the same team in the cup. Opponent: Seedfield Date: 05/10/13 Venue: Home Result: 0-6 Match report Pennine were unable to field a full team against Seedfield with Huszar injury, Asad poorly, Shepherd unavailable. The team played well but were always up against it. 4-0 down first half. Second half Seedfield balanced the game up by removing a player and Pennine wee the better team throughout but couldnt convert their possession. Two last minute goals flattered Seedfield and the game ended as 6-0 loss. Rhys Mansfield picked up the MoM award closely pushed by a Harrison Cocker.

Opponent: Elton and Walshaw Sports Date: 12/10/13 Venue: Away Result: 0-5 Match report Pennine were in Cup action this week against the best team in Division C. Pennine played well in the first period but once again the Walshaw nr 5 was the match winner. Pennine couldnt cope with his pace and he constantly caused problems to the team. Although at times good link up play between Hassan and Holyhead on the right was also causing Walshaw problems throughout the first half. Tyler Kneale worked hard on the left and Josh Robinson had a great first quarter holding the ball up. Pennine managed to create couple of decent chances whilst Harrison once again kept them in the game with a number of fantastic saves. A one on one with the Nr 5 was a memorable. The half finished 2-0 The Whites tried in the second half Ben Huszar on his season debut after a long injury made some good runs at pace, Foggy showed great spirit and some solid tackles but unfortunately Walshaw were too strong. Pennine finally losing the match 5-0. A decent performance by all against a very strong team. Well Done! Coaches MoM Holyhead Parents MoM - Fogarty Opponent: Warthfold Date: 19/10/13 Venue: Home Result: 1-8 Match report Pennine had a lot of possession and plenty of chances but didnt take them. Too many mistakes by everyone meant that half time was 4-0 down. Better second half display Hassan scoring a deserved goal to get back to 5-1 but more mistakes left the Coaches and Parents bewildered. No MOM or Parents MOM this week. Opponent: Bury AMT JAGS Date: 26/10/13 Venue: away Result: 3-3 Match report A much better Pennine performance this week. Pennine bossed the whole of the first half and took a deserved 2-0 lead following a brace from Josh Robinson. In fairness Pennine should have been out of sight before Bury pulled a goal back with their first attack on goal. This gave Bury the impetus and the second goal came following a second attack and an unfortunate error by Cocker in goal. But unlike previous games Pennine went straight back down the other end of the field and won a corner which Hassan scored directly from following a mistake by the Bury keeper.

  • Page | 6

It finished 3-2 half time. The second half was all Pennine again but chance after chjance went begging. Myles Brown and Ben Huszar had the midfield sewn up and there looked like only one team would win it. Then a moment that changed the game following a coming together of players a punch was thrown at Brown and the referee unexplainably sent both players off the pitch. This gave Bury the upper hand and Cocker was called into action on two one on ones and a fine save from Burys giant midfielder. Then the equaliser came with a cracking finish by the Bury forward. Still Pennine had chances in the final few minutes with Robinson shooting narrowly wide. The game finished 3-3. All players contributed but particularly Kneale, Brown, Huszar and Shepherd having outstanding games. Coaches MoM Huszar Parents MoM - Brown Opponent: Elton Sport Club Jaguars Date: 09/11/13 Venue: away Result: 0-4 Match report Pennine out played Elton for the majority of the game but once againt the lack of ability to score when in front of goal appears to be the teams Achilles heel. The lack of scoring is putting too much pressure on the defence and any mistake at the moment is being punished. The first Elton goal came as a result of a counter attack with Pennine failing to clear the ball. Half time 1-0. The second half was much the same with Pennine having plenty of the ball. A great move down the right left Hassan bearing down on goal his cross was to the back post where Kneale and Holyhead were waiting both player contrived to miss the ball with the goal glaringly open. Pennine huffed and puffed and a stunning shot from Hassan was tipped over the bar. Then another mistake, this time from our dependable keeper, who dropped the ball after a long punt at the feet of the Elton striker who had followed up. The heads went down and two more quick goals in the last few minutes sealed the game. The Elton manager said it was never a 4-0 game and he was right. Good games by Huszar,Hassan,Mansfield and Shepherd. MOM went to Haamad who had his best game yet for Pennine.

Opponent: AFC Dobbies Date: 16/11/13 Venue: home Result: 0-4 Match report This week saw the introduction of our two new players Scott Santi and Aadam Asif. Both players made a big difference to the teams performance and Pennine by far played their best football of the season against a good Dobbies side. Throughout the first half Santi was creating all sorts of havoc with the Dobbies defence aided by Hassan and Huszar who looks to be back at his best. It was this trio that created the best move of the half for Peninne. A quick ball down the wing by Hassan was gathered by Santi, who turned the defence inside out before laying off a pass to Huszar who struck a superb shot towards goal. The ball beat everyone but came back off the post. Cocker made a double save to make amends for a poor goal kick and it was that man Huszar who made a last gap tackle to deny the Dobbies striker. It was 0-0 at half time and an enjoyable match for all to watch. The second half continued in the same vain with Dobbies making a lot of the running but soild defending by Mansfield,Fogarty & Shepherd kept them at bay. Cocker made a brave save at the feet of the striker and took a bad knock in the process. Eventually Dobbies took the lead with a great free-kick on the second attempt. Not sure why the ref let them take it again but it was unstoppable. Pennine pushed hard and Santi broke through only to be denied by a great save from the keeper. The ball broke in the area and it was somehow scrambled away for a corner. Pennine were then caught at the back when the striker out muscled Shepherd in a one on one race and he then finished well. Two further quick goals in the last 5 minutes again made the margin a lot more flattering than it deserved for Dobbies. Some great performances by ALL today but particular standout performances by Huszar,Mansfield,Fogarty and Santi. MOM went to Cocker for some outstanding and brave saves.

  • Page | 8

Opponent: AFC Dobbies Date: 23/11/13 Venue: away Result: 2-3 Match report Another improved performance. The team are getting better every week. Pennine fell behind early on and looked like being swept away. Fine defending and goal keeping kept the team in the game. Pennine midfield started to get a grip and a great move down the right with live wire Santi crossing the far post and Shepherd slid in to equalise. This seemed to deflate Dobbies and Pennine then totally out played them for the remainder of the half. Scott Santi fired in from the edge of the box in the top corner for 2-1. Dobbies management were desperate for half time as they were out on the ropes. Adaam Asif hit the post in the last minute of the half. Keep it tight was the message at half time. But nearly straight away Dobbies scored when a ball was allowed to bounce in the area and ended up with the unmarked Dobbies striker. The game was ebbing and flowing with both teams having chances then Pennine were caught on the break through the middle and Dobbies scored the winner. A much improved performance with Hayden Hickman getting the MoM. Opponent: Elton and Walshaw Lynx Date: 30/11/13 Venue: home Result: 2-5 Match report Wow another great effort against an unbeaten Elton & Walshaw Team. Pennine as expected were soon under pressure from Elton and some great last ditch defending from Foggy and co kept the team in the game. Shepherd woke up after a slow start and started to dominate down the left of midfield, linking up well with Santi and Hassan. The keeper saved smartly from Santi when it looked like a goal for Pennine. Another attack by Pennine down the left with the Elton team blocking first a shot from Shepherd then Asif before Santi fired home. Cocker saved two or three one on ones with the Elton forwards before he was eventually beaten Pennine werent phased and competed well. Then an unfortunate clearance from the dead ball kick went to the Elton striker who scored right on half time.

  • Page | 9

The second half was a bit of an onslaught but Cocker saved time and time again taking a lot of applause from the Elton management. Tyler Kneale battled away at full back having his best game of the season. A third goal came following another mistake and we all thought it would be the start of an avalanche of goals. But it wasnt to be ! Santi tussled for the ball following a lovely through ball from Hassan and his shot hit the cross bar and was deemed to have crossed the line. 2-3 The Pennine heads were up and it was now Elton who were on the rocks. Holyhead fired wide after another good Pennine move. Then the sucker punch Elton broke away and scored against the run of play. The 5th goal was again following a poor clearance straight to an unmarked Elton striker. Great performance and the Lads should be proud. MOM went to Tyler who looked solid at right back throughout the game. Opponent: : Bury AMT Tigers Date: 07/12/13 Venue: home Result: 5-1 Match report YES....eventually a win !

This result was thoroughly deserved and had been coming for the last three or four weeks.

Another slow start from Pennine missing Foggy (illness) and Shepherd (away) gave Tigers

the impetus. A fine save by Cocker at the near post and a good catch were the early

warnings. The first goal of the game came for Tigers on 10 mins and it looked like one of

    those days.

This is a different Pennine team now and they showed they are made of sterner stuff these

    days and soon bounced back.

Following some Pennine pressure the ball was cleared by the Tigers defence and Hickman

delivered a lovely ball into the area and Santi headed the ball past the Tigers keeper.

The first ever headed goal the team have scored!

The second goal came shortly afterwards as Santis shot-cross was turned in and that was

pretty much the end of the game. Pennine dominated the rest of the half with Ben Huszar

and Adaam Asif running the midfield. Santi scored two more goals before half time. To be

fair Pennine should have scored several more before half time.

  • Page | 10

Pennine werent in any trouble throughout the second half with Cocker only called into

action to field the odd cross or through ball.

The move of the game came when Holyhead fed Asif who laid on Santi who crossed to the

far post and Asad was there to fire in off the post for his first ever goal.

The whole team contributed to a first class performance.

MOM went to Ben Huszar for a great midfield display.

Opponent: Woodbank Whites Date: 14/12/13 Venue: home Result: 0-5 Match report: Beaten by a good team. Pennine had chances but couldnt create clear scoring opportunities. Hickman was pick of the bunch. Opponent: Elton Panthers Date: 11/01/14 Venue: away Result: 4-6 Match report: This is a game that we threw away again. Totally on top for most of the game. Half time was 3-1 to Pennine. Great team move led to the 4th goal which saw Santi grab his Hat-trick. Elton pulled one back against the run of play and then two quick fire goals saw Elton draw level. A 5th went in and Pennine had collapsed. All against the run of play ! Still Pennine had the chance to equalise but Shepherd fired straight at the keeper and the chance was gone. Almost immediately Elton broke away and scored the 6th on the Final Whistle Opponent: Bury AMT Jags Date: 08/02/14 Venue: home Result: 2-3 Match report : This was a game we were expecting to win and again we were the best team. The Jags just bullied us and goals against the run of play stopped us in our tracks. Robinson pulled a goal back and Santi scored a screamer from outside the box. It was all Pennine but in the end the Whites ran out of time. Best team on the day again lost!

  • Page | 11

Opponent: Radcliffe Blue Date: 01/03/14 Venue: away Result: 0-4 Match report: Poor pitch and not a lot of shape. Far too often the ball was lost in good positions with all out of their positions. Time and time again the defence were outnumbered on the counter attack. That said a penalty could have gone Pennines way as the score stood at 1-0 but not to be. First goal came from a corner that bounced past the first man and ended with a tap in. Second goal came when we passed the ball across our own area. Third and final goals were tap ins from scrambles. Rhys Mansfield played well in the goal for the second half. Opponent: Walshaw Park Date: 08/03/14 Venue: Home Result: 0-3 Match report: This was the FA silence weekend which led to a lack of atmosphere and a Poor match which the Whites should have won. A soft goal on the stroke of half time saw Pennine lose the impetus. That said no real clear cut chances. Second half was pretty even with Pennine having the most of the possession. The second half saw Cocker making a good save but unfortunately the striker was first to react and finished well. A free kick was slotted in off the post but the wall should have been covering the post and the goal could have been avoided. Shepherd was Mom but Santi also had a good game. Opponent: Warthfold Date: 15/03/14 Venue: away Result: 4-4 Match report: The match was switched to RedVale Park and the pitch was tiny. Straight from the kick off a careless

pass by Robinson let in the striker was initially thwarted but after a melee around the edge of the

box a soft shot beat everyone. 1-0 down after less than a minute.

The second goal was similarly soft a through ball was missed by everyone and trickled over the line.

Pennine were showing some signs that they could score Tyler Kneale on the left was playing well and

causing the home side a few problems. Josh was full of running and our danger man Santi had a

couple of good efforts. A shot from Aadam Asif was well saved by the keeper.Shepherd also had a

    good first half.

4 subs came on and Sol Robinson in for the sick Huszar had some early good touches and looked

    solid at the back.

But the main threat came from Raza Hassan on the left. A nice lay off by Hammad to Hassan left

Hassan get sight of goal and his near post shot beat everyone. Pennine then pushed hard and

  • Page | 12

another goal from Hassan which found the top corner was well deserved. It was all Pennine now

with Asif and Hickman winning the midfield battle and Hassan and Santi causing havoc on the wings.

It was Santi and Sol Robinson who linked up well on the right and Santi smashed in the third. Surely

Pennine were going to win this game?

But then the Achilles heal....... another very soft goal. Cockers clearance was hoofed back into the

area and with the keeper in no mans land the ball bounced over his head into the net.

Pennine re-grouped and forced a corner. Asif crossed to the back post were Fogarty was waiting and

he head headed in an absolute cracker. The keeper had no chance. John Terry would have been

proud of that finish it was a real quality finish.

That should have been the winner but oh no not with the Whites. A Warthfold corner was retaken

on the right and the resultant kick bobbling along the ground somehow found its way straight in at

the near post despite a defender initially being on the post.

The whistle went and another game that we should have won went by the wayside.

The positive being that we lost 8-1 earlier in the season so a creditable draw but a game we should

have clearly won. Pennines goals were all quality whereas the ones conceded were quite fortunate.

Good game by all but Cocker, Sol Robinson and Man of the Match Aadam Asif were the pick.

Opponent: Walshaw Date: 22/03/14 Venue: away Result: 3-2 Match report: At long last the wait was over ! The Whites finally clinched a well-deserved victory. This was the

second win of the campaign and was no less than deserved particularly since the good form since

    the turn of the year.

Walshaw had beaten the Whites only 2 weeks prior and on a lovely day and on home pitch they

must have felt confident. But Pennine, fresh from a good performance last week, were full of

confidence Santi, Sol Robinson, Tyler Kneale and Ben Huszar caused havoc down the right hand side

of the pitch. Slick passing moves had Walshaw in all sorts of trouble. Santi was put through by Huszar

and he fired past the keeper.

Walshaw hit back and a brilliant save from Cocker kept them at bay.

A corner from the right taken by Aadam Asif to the back post was dispatched by the on rushing

Fogarty.....his second in as many games. There was only one team in it and Hassan went close with a

left foot shot as did Santi.

Then a long punt by Walshaw was fumbled by Cocker under pressure and the striker tapped into an

empty net. Walshaw attached again and from point blank Cocker managed to save the shot full on in

the face. Pennine finished the half ontop.

The second half was much the same with Pennine having most of the play and should really have

done better when both Santi and Hamaad being put through on goal to be thwarted.

  • Page | 13

The third goal did come when Santi popped up on the left and linked with Hammad before curling

a right foot past the keeper.

Walshaw tried to hit back but Sol Robinson,Fogarty and Mansfield were solid at the back. Cocker

saved on a one on one. The resulting corner was somehow bundled over the line by Walshaw but it

was merely a consolation goal, in the last minute of the game.

Well done to all a brilliant football performance.

Man of the match was Matt Fogarty.

Opponent: Woodbank Date: 29/03/14 Venue: away Result: 1-5 Match report:

Fresh from two recent good performances we were all quite confident going into todays game

against a Woodbank side who had only lost one game all season and sat joint top of the league.

Pennine were always going to find this a tough game but the management were looking for a lot of

effort and commitment from all the players. Pennine struggled early on and gave away two soft

goals away. The first goal was an own goal and the second followed a poor clearance a third should

have been conceded following a penalty when Rhys had handled the ball in the area, but a double

save from Cocker kept them in the game.

Pennine then started to push forward with Aadam Asif holding his own in midfield and driving the

team on. A through ball for Santi saw him shake off his marker to smash an absolute screamer into

the top corner from outside the box. Pennine pushed on and Santi released Robinson with only the

keeper to beat Josh just shot wide.

Hayden Hickman, Rhys Mansfield and Fogarty in defence held strong for the remainder of the half.

Sol Robinson and Raza were introduced at half time as Pennine tried to get into the game but often

the final ball often let them down.

Woodbank were very strong in midfield and found plenty of room on the large pitch. A third goal

came when the striker followed up on a save from Cocker.....perhaps a defender could have got

there first. A brilliant save by Cocker kept the score at 3-1 but the inevitable 4th goal came from a

great shot into the top came from the Woodbank winger after she cut out a goal kick.

The final goal came after Cocker had saved again but Woodbank followed up on the rebound with

most of the Pennine team stood watching.

Tyler Kneale and Santi both went close late on for Pennine and a second goal would have been just

    rewards for the team.

Both Graeme and myself agreed that it was probably the fact that Woodbank were so good that

made us look ordinary but on reflection it was a really good performance again by the Whites. A

little more effort, concentration and awareness from some of the team will only lead to further

    improvement.

This was confirmed by the Woodbank manager who said we were one of the better teams they had

played against and they couldnt understand why we were at the wrong end of the table.

MOM was Harrison Cocker for a fine goal keeping display.

  • Page | 14

Match report Opponent: Elton Jags Date: 05/04/14 Venue: home Result: 1-1 The final result of 1-1 does not reflect the game. Elton were very lucky to come away with a draw. A

fair result would have been 5-1 to Pennine. Missing players Sol Robinson and Harrison Cocker it was

a great performance by the rest of the team.

Rhys Mansfield had a great game in goal and Raza was busy throughout the game. Hamaad linked up

well throughout the game with Aadam, Scott Santi and Raza. Foggy was solid at the back and Hayden

dominated the midfield. Hayden just needs to concentrate and complete his passes a little more

    consistently.

Unfortunately Pennine couldnt make the chances count should have been 5 up at half-time but

good keeping and or finishing was the difference. Elton scored straight away from the re-start of the

second half and Pennine grabbed the deserved equaliser later in the game through Scott Santi who

to be fair should have scored several goals on the day.

    MOM - Rhys Mansfield.

Match report Opponent: Radcliffe Date: 12/04/14 Venue: home Result: 2-6 A tough encounter this week against a good Radcliffe side. Two stunning goals from Scott Santi one

an amazing overhead kick were the highlight of the game.

An early goal by Radcliffe followed by a cross cum shot. Josh Robinson should have scored to make

    things closer.

Rhys Mansfield saved several chances to kick the team in the match Santi scored just before Half-

Time to make it 1-3. Radcliffe bagged their forth but Santi scored another screamer 2-4. Two late

    goals sealed it for Radcliffe.

Pennine played well but Radcliffe just had the edge over the Whites in this one.

Raza Hassan for the second week running had a good game and was voted MoM.

Match report Opponent: Elton Panthers Date: 26/04/14 Venue: home Result: 3-1 Pennine dominated the whole of the first half and two great goals from Sol Robinson ,his first for the

team and Santi sent Pennine in at half time 2-0 up. Really the score flattered Elton who struggled

    throughout the first half.

  • Page | 15

Pennine dominated the midfield with Sol,Raza and Aadam causing Elton all sorts of problems

throughout. Sols opener was a great move with the midfield all linking up play well. Sols shot was

powered in from outside the box.

Scott Santi finished off a great move that started with Harrison to Tyler to Raza who cut across

midfield and played in Scott who scored at the near post. Raza had a couple of chances and Scott

    fired wide.

The second half was slightly different with Elton pushing forward but solid defending by the back 3

lead by Fogarty thwarting most attacks. Then inexplicitly Sol was penalised for holding in the area

and the ref awarded a penalty which was converted.

Elton then huffed and puffed and couldnt make any head way.Sub made and Raza came on for

Josh and almost immediately the speedy winger broke away fed in Scott who fired in his 20th goal of

    the season.

Pennine then dominated the final stages and only good goalkeeping stopped Pennine from running

up 3 more goals. Asif,Santi and Holyhead all denied goals.

    Great result 3-1

    MOM Aadam Asif

Opponent: Elton and Walshaw Lynx Date: 30/04/14 Venue: Away Result: 3-4 Match report Bitterly disappointing end to another great performance from the Whites against the tough tackling

    Elton team.

Pennine started the brighter and carried on where they had left off from on Saturday. Aadam Asif

again pulling the strings in midfield and with the aid of Raza, marauding down the left, causing all

sorts of trouble to the Lynx defence. Solid defending by Matt Fogarty ,Sol ,Josh and Luke kept the

    Lynx threat at bay.

Lynx had a goal disallowed following a debate with the ref about the ball going out off play. The ref

played on and gave advantage to the home side which ended with the ball in the goal. This decision

seemed typical throughout the rest of the match.

Pennine buckled down and great play by Scott Santi on the left ended with a goal. Lynx pushed hard

Pennine held on and came back it was real end to end stuff. Then one of the goals of he season. Raza

played in by Aadam broke down the left flicked the ball over the Lynx defenders and Scott Santi

smashed in a half volley that gave the keeper no chance.

Harrison cleared a through ball and then was beaten following a 1 on 1. Half time came and the

score was 2-1 to the Whites. Free kick score was 1-5 !!

We knew that Lynx would push hard after half time but it was again Pennine who came closest to

scoring after god work by Ben leading to Santi firing into the side netting.

Harrison was now the busier of the keepers saving well on two or three occasions before the

equaliser came. Pennine were caught in possession in midfield and the ball was somehow scrambled

    home.

Sol Robinson cleared off the line as the Whites were under more pressure. Then another blow when

again the ball should have been cleared resulted in soft goal.2-3

Hamaad linked up well with Scott on the left and Pennine forced a corner a ball into the box was not

cleared and up stepped Andy Holyhead to fire in a dramatic equaliser with time almost up.

But that wasnt the end of it as straight from the kick off our Nemesis Nr 9 ran at the team somehow

got through 4 or 5 tackles to finally bundle the ball home with only 20 seconds left to break the

hearts of the team. Final score 3-4.

Pennine were brilliant again and showing signs of becoming a great little team.

    MOM Harrison.

    NB.

Final score on free kicks Pennine 1 Lynx 12. Never have we had in one game so many free kicks

awarded against us. Ironically every late Lynx tackle, elbow, stamp ,push, shove was deemed ok. A

reasonable referee would have blown straight after the Pennine equaliser with only seconds

    remaining.

Opponent: Seedfield Date: 03/05/14 Venue: Away Result: 3-6 Match report Final game of the season away at Seedfield and we were without our Mr consistent Matty Fogarty

who was on the road to Newport with Denzil.

So we shuffled the pack and stuck Sol in defence and for the first half of the match all things were

going well. Pennine started well and had all the play. Raza Hassan and Scott Santi causing most of

the problems to the home team aided well by Aadam Asif and Hayden in midfield. Luke Shepherd

once again played quite steady at full back against a tricky winger.

Pennine through Santi went 1 up then 2 up in a short period of time. In fairness Josh had missed a

sitter before the second goal had gone in missing from close range after good work by Scott on the

    left wing.

Both Raza and Aadam had had good opportunities also.

Any counter attacks from Seedfield were dealt with by Sol, Rhys and Luke and Harrison really was

protected well by his defenders. What he had to do he did comfortably.

Ben Huszar came on for Josh and looked to link up well on the right with Shep and Pennine looked

    totally in control.

Then against the run of play Seedfield managed to break away and scored with only a minute to go

    till half time.

The second half was different totally. This time Seedfield took the game to Pennine and Cocker was

called into far more action. The nippy left winger was causing Tyler Kneale all sorts of problems on

    the right.

Pennine did catch Seedfield on the break though; a ball from Cocker to Holyhead on the left was well

collected and a lovely pass from Andy sent Santi away to score his hat trick and put Pennine 3-1 up.

Then no longer after Seedfield scored what was a very dubious goal with the referee blowing up

Pennine all stopping and the ref then allowing a blatant hand ball to be played on. The ref claimed

    advantage to Seedfield.

Pennine then conceded an equaliser which appeared to go through a crowd of players and catching

    Harrison unsighted.

Pennines heads went down players lost their composure, stopped playing the football, missing

tackles and generally the shape and balance collapsed similar to what happened earlier in the

season at Elton. Soon 3-3 became 6-3 and the game was over.

The Lads, as they did in the match at Elton and Walshaw earlier in the week, played well and

deserved a draw at the least but as we know football is a funny old game.

MOM Scott Santi tried hard and scored 3 great goals. Raza also had a notable performance.
