UAV Monitoring Services & Surveys Desias carries out analytical and video-photographic surveys using UAVs. Thanks to remote controls, the presence of a high definition camera and the possibility to use thermal or IR cameras as well as other specific sensors, our drones return valuable information on the inspected site resulting in an easier monitoring of the actual conditions, thus supporting a quicker and safer decision making process.

Desias UAVs are equipped with HD cameras, thus providing aerial video inspections on several kinds of equipment and structures, enabling to have a close look at corrosion and structural health in general. Moreover, we can perform precision mapping of targeted areas and 3D representation of site locations. The Light-bridge 2 live streaming system enables real-time analysis of video evidence.

Using thermal cameras Desias’ UAVs can perform extensive and accurate inspections on pipelines, furnaces, tanks and other structures. Typical operations are: leak detection, heat loss, combustion quality monitoring and refractory insulation layer integrity.

Our UAVs can be also successfully employed to carry out environmental sampling and monitoring: flare gas exhaust sampling, evaluation and monitoring of leaking products scattering, video and thermographic inspection of water bodies, air sampling and pollutions monitoring.

DESIAS DJI S1000

Desias UAV fleet is currently based on 2 DJI S1000 model, on which different set-ups have been built to satisfy a variety of requirements. The Octocopter configuration guarantees a powerful lift as well as a high redundancy in case of engine fault.

Desias is a service engineering company founded in 2013 as a result of Rome’s Refinery transformation into a storage facility. We provide specialised technical expertise in the Oil & Energy industry, fully collaborating with client’s personnel; understanding their operational, technical and productive needs.
