Requirements You much graduate high school with an

average of 80% or higher, after some research I found that those who get accepted have at least a 96% average

You also need at English, physics and chemistry 12 and Socials and a language 11

Courses At UBC your first year in any

engineering program is the same only after you finish your first year do you specialize

In the mechanical engineering you may choose to specialize in biomedical, thermofluids, and mechatronics, mechanical engineering

Cost per Year Tuition per year at is $4,615.35 for a Canadian

resident with the addition of $832.00 for student fees

Books will take $800.00 out of your wallet And if you choose to live on campus it is

estimated that your cost of living will be $13,561.00 a year including food, luckily I live close enough to UBC that if I choose I could live at home for a few years. If I choose to do so transport will cost 3.75 one way with 61 teaching days that is $288.75 per year.

Why Would I Want to Become a Mechanical Engineer I want to become a mechanical Engineer

because I have always loved engineering and I have been working on my bike since I was a kid and I am currently on a robotics team at Carson

From my research it sounds like the program they offer is very interesting and challenging
