I want to work at Equity Research because I enjoy developing an independent worldview and being

constantly challenged to improve my insight. I believe my ambition fits well into your firms

environment which upholds intellect and creative thinking. An individual research project at Barclays

Capital has equipped me with strong quantitative skills and great attention to detail. This allows me tobe sensitive to subtle market movements and derive prudent insights. I possess excellent

communication skills to succeed at UBS. During my internship at Minerva Advisors, I presented

complex investment ideas in a comprehensive manner. I developed client relationships by acting as

translator during meetings between Western clients and Asian investors. I have also written a research

thesis which was awarded First Class and also involved collection and analysis of a large array of

scientific data. I believe my fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese will be instrumental in expanding

your client base.
