The new catering menu available at UC Events and Conferencing features a range of menu styles suitable for small to large events.

If you are after something a bit different, please contact us as our Head Chef will be happy to assist you in developing a menu specifically designed for your event.

Conditions

Our standard operation hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 7:00pm. Any requested that is made outside these hours may incur additional staffing costs.

Weekend Surcharge Applicable

15% on Saturdays

20% on Sundays and public holidays

Dietary RequirementsWe offer a range of vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free food items across our menus to meet many of the dietary requirements of your guests. We are also able to provide Halal Certified food and other dietary requirements on request.

Individual dietary meals are available on request for all menus at an additional charge. For special dietary requirements, we ask you to provide these details at least one week in advance to allow adequate preparation time.

14 Catering | Executive Chef

Mark Jespher Pascual Carter has brought his passion and enthusiasm for food to his role as Executive Chef at UC Events and Conferencing. Drawing from his experience at the Hyatt Hotel, Mark Jespher has modernised our catering service to deliver a fine dining experience.

Originally born in the Philippines and migrating to Australia as a 6 year old, he fondly remembers watching his grandma cook as a young boy. Having always been fascinated with the process of transforming simple ingredients into spectacular meals, he gained his apprenticeship in 2008 through the Canberra Institute of Technology. Throughout his training and his experiences at Hyatt Hotel, Mark Jespher has strived for excellence in fine dining. He has brought a new standard to the catering at UC Events and Conferencing with the new Catering Menu reflecting his flair for creativity.

He states that what underpins the success of UC Events and Conferencing is that “we work alongside a fantastic team that has a great sense of camaraderie whilst still maintaining a professional manner”.
