UC Mobile Client Overview (Android Users) UC Web Client Training Series

The UC Mobile Client provides access to the UC Journal, Contacts, Directory and Conferences on your

Android device.

To get started, you'll need to download the client from the App Store

Search for OpenScape

Install the OpenScape Mobile App

Configure the App

As this is your first-time logging in, you'll need to configure a few things to connect to your account.

Navigate to the User tab

Tap Account to get started setting things up

Tap on Subscriber

Enter your UC login and press OK

Input your password in the password field and press OK

Next, you'll need to configure the Server Address. Make sure to enter this exactly as shown. Press OK when you're done.

Tap Save

Then tap on the slider icon to the right of Sign-in to connect

UC Features

The UC features are organized into four tabs located on the top of the screen.

User Tab

Presence

From the User tab, you can set your presence

Preferred Device

Change your preferred device. Ensure that your mobile phone is set as your preferred device if you plan to make and receive calls on it.

Contacts and Directory

With your device set, you can easily make a call from the Contact's and Directory tab.

Return a call using the callback feature found in Journal entries

Conferences

Conference call functionality is also available on the Mobile App.

To join an existing conference, navigate to the Conference tab

Tap on a scheduled conference

Then tap Start Conference to connect

Logging Out

When you're ready to log-out of the UC Mobile App, navigate back to the User tab

Edit your preferred device

Tap on the green slider icon to the right of Sign-in. Select "YES" to sign-out and close the app
