OFFSHORE, MARINE ANDSHIPBOARD CABLEToday Universal Cable (M) Berhad ( UCMB ), together with its subsidiary companies, insulated power and control cables, instrument and telecommunication cables as wellas cables used for ships and offshore installations.
The environment on the ship has a number of special characteristics. Space limitation,
of withstanding these arduous conditions.
Our Oil and Gas cables have been developed with improved characteristics to emit corrosive gases and hence do not cause secondary damage to the control,communication and power systems nor is it a threat to human life. Moreover, these
Oil and Gas cables manufactured by UCMB are in accordance with all relevant
(PSB).
This catalogue serves as a guide to UCMBs manufacturing process and standards in theproduction of oil and gas cables. The conductor used is mainly plain annealed copper.
