DESIGNTrellchem® ACT is a Level B/non-encapsulating/type T suit for use with an SCBA* worn outside the suit.

GARMENT MATERIALA textile base combined with fluoropolymer technology provides a light-weight, supple and highly chemical protective material. The textile outside gives a comfortable feeling as well as low noise level for the wearer.

SEAMSThe seams are stitched with an aramid thread for superior strength and durability. The inside is sealed with a welded-on barrier tape in order to create a continuous barrier across the seam, giving the same chemical properties as the garment material itself.

HOOD & MASK SEALThe hood is fitted with a thin, 3D shaped mask seal made from butyl rubber, for ultimate sealing to the face mask as well as high chemical protection. A neck strap in the back of the hood helps create optimal fit of the hood and mask.

ZIPPERWater repellent zipper placed diagonally on the front of the suit, for quick & easy donning and doffing. The zipper closes downwards, for added safety, and is protected by a double splash guard (flap).

GLOVESAnsell Butyl Plus rubber gloves with Trellchem® ACT Overglove made from aramid fiber. The Butyl Plus glove is thin and comfortable for enhanced dexterity and the Overglove has a shaft with specially designed shape to fit perfectly on-top of the Trellchem® Bayonet ring.

The gloves are attached either with the Trellchem® Bayonet ring system, for possibility to replace the gloves, or they are mounted permanently by gluing them to the sleeves.

FOOTWEARThe suit is fitted with sewn-in socks/booties made of the garment material. To be worn with Onguard Hazmax® boots, which are certified with the suit but not included.

PADDINGShoulders are fitted with padding to help spread the weight of the SCBA, thereby creating better comfort and ergonomy. Optionally knees and elbows can also be fitted with padding.

Thermal Image System

Manufacturing our own core enables us to ensure that we have the best optics possible. The clarity of the image displayed inside the face mask is paramount for the user, especially in the environments where the Solo TITM is deployed. It is also important that it does not impede sight when there is no smoke present. The eye line remains the same whatever the conditions, the thermal image is used as a reference when needed.

A battery indicator is displayed in the augmented reality viewing optics. The battery is mounted inside the helmet with an operating ON/OFF switch mounted on the side of the helmet. These parameters have been optimised to provide enhanced image performance with longer battery life. Video output is provided by a miniature BNC socket on the battery housing. Combining this product with a wireless transmitter and receiver unit, enables both operator and incident commander to have an overview of the fire ground.

Providing head protection, respiratory protection and comprehensive communications interface in one system is a huge benefit. As communication becomes increasingly difficult on the fire ground, the SoloTM helmet delivers crystal clear amplification enhancing fire fighter safety.

The helmet is designed and built from fire retardant resin and Kevlar fibre composite material giving unparalleled protection and comfort. The SoloTM range also features a Nomex neck protection skirt providing total protection to the fire fighter.

Weight is always an important factor in any operation where personal protection is required. FLITE COV is a positive pressure Supplied Air Respirator that also provides emergency respiratory protection and escape capability allowing the user to enter hazardous atmospheres including those identified as immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). If needed, the switch to the emergency air supply cylinder is accomplished by an automatic change over valve greatly simplifying response to a stressful situation.

Flite, in its simplest form, provides the user with breathing air from a medium pressure airline. It consists of a lightweight, easy to don bandolier harness with padded shoulder strap, a pigtail connection with safety locking coupling, a Tempest positive pressure demand valve with first breath activation and hands-free bypass facility.

As the equipment is positive pressure, it provides the user with the highest possible protection factor allowing Flite to be used in IDLH and oxygen deficient environments.

With airline breathing apparatus the user’s safety is depend- ent upon outside influences – the airline supply could become disrupted. Flite includes the option of an escape cylinder that can be added to the unit at any time, this serves as an important additional safety benefit to safeguard against a failure of the airline supply.

Flite Escape is widely used by people working in confined spaces or hazardous environments, such as the oil and gas industry, where levels of H2S can be extremely high.

The Respiratory Airline System (RAS) is a novel solution to situations where the user must enter and egress from working environments where the hazardous atmospheres are known and the infrastructure of the airline network are semi permanent.

The RAS is a positive pressure system consisting of a Flite apparatus coupled with a facemask that has both positive pressure and DIN 40mm thread filter connections.

This solution increases freedom of movement by enabling the user to enter and egress from the working environment using a filter where there is no danger of there being an oxygen deficient atmosphere. Then, when in a working situation where the level of contaminants will be highest, connect into an airline system and work under positive pressure. RAS versions of the Promask Positive Pressure and Vision 3 facemasks are available.

The RAS Asbestos is an industry specific product based upon the standard RAS system.

Used in exactly the same way, the RAS Asbestos has the added benefit of an in-line filter in the medium pressure supply hose.

This filter removes particulates down to 0.01 microns and protects the wearer from any asbestos particles that may be have entered into the pigtail during the entry and connection to the airline procedure. The unique coated wipeclean webbing bandolier aids with decontamination after use.

MEDIUM PRESSURE INLINE WHISTLEWhen placed in the airline system between the breathing hose and the user this

device provides a safe, clear warning should the airline pressure drop below 4 bar.

SCBA AIRLINE ATTACHMENTThis attachment is fitted on to Sabre self contained breathing apparatus enabling them to be used with an airline system. This attachment is available on both the

Cen-paq and Contour and existing sets can be easily upgraded if required.

HP-RED2Reduces high pressure air from a single cylinder to medium pressure. As

standard the HP-RED2 has a high pressure gauge fitted to display cylinder content. A 55 bar whistle is available together with a selection of connections to

fit different types of cylinders.

MEDIUM PRESSURE TEST GAUGEAllows the user to check the pressure of the airline at the point of use.

AIRLINE FILTER UNIT (AFU)Available in two or four user versions, the AFU removes particles, oil and water

from medium pressure compressed air making it suitable for use with breathing apparatus.

RETRACTABLE HOSE REELProvides a means of convenient storage for 15 meters of hose. It is designed to

maintain a safe work area by allowing the user to control the amount of hose laid out. Supplied with PVC or antistatic hose and wall mounting bracket.

DISTRESS SIGNAL UNITThe DS4 is an automatic distress signal unit for use with the Sabre Modulair.

Indicating if action is urgently required, the DS4 monitors the medium pressure of an external air input, giving off a loud audible and visual alarm should there be a

drop in air pressure

HOSESHoses are available in both PVC and antistatic rubber materials in seven standard lengths. All airline hose connections are CEN safety couplings that are quick and

easy to connect yet prevent accidental disconnection.

The Modulair is a compact, easy to use airline trolley system designed to provide portable clean air in restricted access areas. Versatile and robust, it consists of a lightweight stainless steel hose reel unit and cylinder frame that can be used independently or together. The DSL B-2 Nucelar is a dive helmet designed for underwater works in polluted environments. It has a neutral buoyancy for an optimised comfort underwater. The DSL B-2 Nuclear is mounted with a double spring loaded overpressure valve to ensure the divers security in polluted media. The DSL A-2 TDH is a surface breathing helmet convertible in a diving helmet in less than 30 seconds. It is designed for works in unbreathable environments on surface and underwater works in polluted waters.

The helmet has two different top shells. One light top shell for surface works and one heavy top shell for underwater works. This way, it is possible to switch from the surface mode into the diving mode by clicking two locking clamps. Both top shells have standard mounted M5 stainless steel inserts for fixing camera and light.

The maintenance shelter MVII is designed to function as a workshop tent. The tent is kept inflated using controlled electrical blowers. Special feature is the ‘eye lid’ door on both ends. MIII :

The airframe is a 4 chamber-system and builds a unity with the floor and the cover. To allow inflation of the tent the chamber is furnished with combined inflation/deflation valves at the outside of the tent. Also the chambers are equipped with pressure relief valves, which open in case of overpressure situation. The combined inflation/deflation valves also serve for inflation of the tent by electric blower system, available on request as optional equipment. Alongside the roof loop retainers serve to fix strain lines, in case the tent is pitched in strong wind. Entrances at back and front side can be closed by two textile doors. Inflated with Blower K.

Integrated Shower System :

The mass decon system is used to decontaminate people in a minimum of time with a maximum efficiency and safety. It is important to avoid human error. A minimum of assistance from third parties is needed during the decontamination process.

Mass Decon System

I. SHELTER

TrellTents are best to be used for mass decon system.

II. INTEGRATED SHOWER SYSTEM

The integrated shower system is installed in the shelters and creates different zones inside the tent: waiting, undressing, shower and redressing areas. The inside walls could be lifted up, when necessary.

III. SHOWER STRIPS

The shower stations are equipped with shower strips with both clean and soap water supply. The basin is installed in the shelter and keeps the water inside the shower area.

IV. ACCESSORIES

For water supply, lighting, positive airflow inside the shelter and other properties needed in the mass decon system, various accessories are used.

CLEAN WATER SUPPLY

Clean water supply is essential for the Mass Decon system. No water - no decon. Water supply can be community water supply, water tanks, containers, bags.

WASTE WATER

The waste water collection is setup in the warm zone, away from the clean water supply. As waste water is contaminated, it is to be collected for proper treatment. Collection can be done using tanks, containers, bags.

POSITIVE AIRFLOW

To be sure to have a positive airflow inside the shelter an air blower or heater is connected to a duct on the ‘cold-zone-side’ of the tent. This way clean air is blown from the clean side of the mass decon system to the contaminated side.
