The 20th CBRNE CMD exercises mission command over

Materiel Focus Areas:

Protection. Improve protective ensemble to enhance Warfighter performance (Protective Ensembles, Physiological Monitors)

Contamination Mitigation. Improve contamination mitigation capabilities to enhance effectiveness and reduce logistical requirements (Contamination Indication/Decon Assurance Spray)

Characterization. Improve capabilities to identify, characterize, assess and exploit CBRNE hazards (Unmanned Aerial/Ground CBRN Vehicles; R/N Detectors; Bio Detectors)

Situational Awareness. Improve situational awareness and real-time reach back to support force protection decisions (Communications/Situational Awareness Tools)

Enhanced Capability Demonstration

In coordination with Joint Program Executive Office for Chem Bio Defense,

20th CBRNE Command is demonstrating technologies in an Enhanced Capability

Demonstration to inform CBRN/EOD initiatives and address modernization challenges.
