Why use underfloor heating?

The Envirotube underfloor heating solution provides a fully warranted product which is de-signed specifically for your installation.This guarantees compatibility with the primary generator whether that be a conventional fuel powered boiler or a renewable energy source, such as a heat pump system. This is espe-cially important if you are using a heat pump, as the efficiency of the system is compromised if the heat emitter is not designed to match its output and operating parameters.

All Envirotube systems are designed using BS EN 12831 standard heat loss calculations and in strict accordance with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme quality guidelines. This ensures that the system will perform as it is designed to do and the energy efficiencies of the primary generator are safeguarded.

Envirotube systems are also very easy to commission and to put in into operation. As well as providing all the information needed by the installer, all manifolds include flow meters, temperature gauges (on both flow and return) and automatic air vents. Installation instruc-tions are provided on A3 sized plastic laminated sheets. These contain all the information the installer requires to ensure that the system performs as intended.

Reverse ‘Fit From Below’ Aluminium Spreader Plates

Specification:- Reverse aluminium Spreader Plates fit underneath floor boards and between joists.- Aluminium Spreader Plates are designed to fit between numerous joist sizings.- Pipework easily clips into preformed grooves.- Underfloor heating pipe is fixed in the grooves of the plates, insulation is placed in the void below the plates to minimise downward heat loss and dissipate the heat even across the floor.

Pre-grooved foil face 22mm board with radiuses grooves of a specified diameter and pattern positioned in the upper surface. Foil face heat diffusion layer covering all of the board including the grooves and then the continuous pipework is pressed into place.

Specification:- The choice of insulation material, panel thickness and the diameter and pattern of the grooves is be-spoke to the client’s specific design and performance requirements.- Pre-grooved Insulation Boards provide a flexible, cost effective solution for Floating Floors, Suspended Timber Floors, Floor on Floor and Battened Floor systems.-No supplementary fixings are required as the process of pressing the pipework into the diffusion plates is sufficient to retain it securely in the correct position.

Profix Panel

Specification:- Extremely low 18mm overall thickness.- The snap clips help to fasten the panels together and the multiple break points with V shaped notches aid in cutting knife alignment.- Benefits from a unique slide and lock to connect the panels together.- Ultra-low profile for either a 10mm or a 12mm pipe.

The high structural integrity of the Profix Panel enables the direct appli-cation of a highly thermally conductive screed replacement board which, in addition to optimising heat transfer, enables either a tiled, vinyl, or thin laminate floor to be bonded directly to it or for a low tog carpet and underlay to be laid directly onto it. Standard Screed Installation

Specification:-Very High heat output -Tried and tested solution which is the most cost effective solution for new builds-Underfloor heating is fully sealed within the buildings construction-Very simple to install

Screeded floor systems are the most common underfloor heating system for the ground floor level in properties (Or other levels a beam and block flooring is in place) The heating pipe is clipped via staples or using a clip rail system to the board to hold the pipe in place whilst the screed is either poured or laid on top.

Manifold Systems

Suitability:- New Build - Extensions - Over solid concrete slab - Beam and block

Envirotube manifold systems are supplied to suit the application. Low temperature heat pump systems will normally have a circulating pump integral to the system suitable for supporting the Un-derfloor Heating System without the need for additional pumps. Boilers will require blending valves and circulation pumps on the manifold. To comply with underfloor heating installation standards a “high limit” thermostat must also be fitted. All Envirotube high temperature manifolds include these as standard items.

Multi-layer pipe for heating systems only, made from a 5-layer composite material using PE-RT as the inner and outer layers coupled with a 0.25mm thick aluminium core. The two further layers are adhesive, to band the aluminium to the inner and outer PE-RT layer.PERT/AL/PE-RT Alpert multilayer can run straight from a distribution point to an outlet point without the need to cut the pipe. This reduces the requirement for joints thus reducing the possibility of leaks. Multi-layer pipe has no memory so it doesn’t spring or resist when laying, so it is ideal for single installer.

The Envirotube 5-layer high quality PE-RT has a very high flexibility, even more flexible than tradi-tional PE-X pipes. The production line in the factory in Sweden is equipped with high technical detection devices to make sure all pipes are leaving the factory in absolute top quality condition. Our pipe can be produced in any dimension used for floor heating applications. Generally, PE-RT pipes are coiled from 200m. The length of the coil is of course customised upon request.
