As a part of In plant training at CMRL for imparting information and knowledge

to engineering college students for learning and understanding , especially on

tendering and bidding process being a new subject for the engineering students.

Presentations were made for the students of following Engineering colleges

on Processing of Tenders on various dates.

¯ 07th June 2017 - Shri Venkateshwara Engineering College.

¯ 16th June 2017 - Kongu Engineering College, Saveetha college, SSN college

and SRM University

¯ 22nd June 2017 - Eshwari Engineering college and RMK College of Engineering.

The presentation consisted of a brief overview of tender process, types of

tenders, details of standard bid documents, Earnest Money Deposit, Performance

security and roles & responsibilities of tender opening committee, tender evaluation

committee and certain do's & don't's of pre-award & post-award of tenders
