Conferencing Etiquette

• Be on time or early to your call.

• Greet & identify yourself when you join/start a call.

• Briefly state the agenda.

• Mute your line when you are not speaking.

• Be sure you are in a quiet location where you will not be disturbed and try to minimise

background noise.

• Do not put your phone on hold as this may put music hold into the conference.

• If possible, always connect

• VOIP Best Practice: Invest in a good quality microphone or headset to get optimum

volume levels into SCB Unified Meeting. Don’t use a speakerphone or devices that can

degrade the capture and rendering of your voice.
