2 Read Adam’s blog. Find and correct six mistakes.

This was the best day of my life! (Apart from the day I got married, of course – sorry,

Marina!) Today Dad and I found the most amazing hoard of Roman treasure!

We were looking in a field near our town and it was snowing. Dad was cold and he wanted

to go home. Then, suddenly, my metal detector beeped. I started to dig. I found a coin

and shouted to Dad. He thought it must be old, but he came to have a look. It was really

old! Then we realised that the metal detector was still beeping. We both started to dig,

and we were more and more excited! We found some treasure – lots of Viking helmets and

jewellery. It may be over 2,000 years old and it’s worth a lot of money!
